how's it going everyone. so i just got done with a deload week, and the reason why i did the deload week was because i wasn't seeing much progress in my workouts. For about a month or so now, i couldn't get pas 15 reps on my archer push ups. I was worried that i might be doing something wrong. @@TheFakeOfMe i do mainly calisthenics, but i use dumbells once in a while.
So you do ten pull up and 5 chin up
@@TheFakeOfMe Yup, it's because chin ups are easier than pullups for me, so when i approach failure on the pullups, i switch to chin ups
try starting from a dead hang

@@ikeaofficial You can build up with easier variations! After you hit the goals, you can move on to harder progressions. 1.) Wall Pullups - 3 Sets of 50 2.) Horizontal Pullups (Chest Height) - 3 Sets of 30 3.) Horizontal Pullups (Hip Height) - 3 Sets of 25 4.) Jackknife Pullups - 3 Sets of 20 5.) Full Pullups

Sounds like you just need to completely change your routine for a bit such as switching to free weights. Then come back to the archer push ups and other body weight exercises.
@@kridreklaw thanks for the advice, man! Yeah I'll definitely try that out. But I don't think I'll completely ditch the archer push ups though, because i really like doing it.

It doesn't work I made 120 all types of push-ups every day for one month , Eat more ,rest more , and do the pushups day another day ! Not daily,
Thanks for the advice, and just to clarify, i do train with a proper split, so this is not my only exercise, and i take 2 rest days every week.

Hey guys! i just wanted to say thank you for everyone who has been with me on this journey, and i would like to set goals for myslef in this journey. so my next goal is on day 30, which is: 1. Do 32 clean reps minimum on the 2-phase push ups (2 phase push up is a pushup variation i created, consisting of tricep focused reps to near failure, followed by chest focused reps to near failure, all within a single set) 2. do 10 clean pull up reps
