Take 4 friends, 1 origional radio script and this is what you get.... Although done in 1978 on a crude tape recording device its not bad is it? We did it with afection for everyone who did this for real and it is with this afection I am sharing this with all of you.....

Take 4 friends and mix together 1 origional radio script and this is what you get..... This episode was broadcast as The Shadow and The Drug Pushers. I like my title better. All characters remain the copyright of Shadow magazine if they still exist. And of course we extend our huge debt to the origional cast Orson Welles and most of The Mercury Theatre Company. this is part 2 of 4.

This reminds me of some recent films in the "found footage" style, I believe. (Like Cloverfield, Blair witch Project, etc.) I didn't get the same philosophical vibes as others who have watched...but I was intrigued. It starts off slowly...(There's a hint) but has a denouement, that you can see coming..if you speak French! A noble effort! My son, Jake, liked the red car. ;>)

Ya know, my mom was born in the 40's. SHe started collecting Radio show (Radio Spirits Co.) in the 80's. I collected some also. I like , Fibber McGee & Molly, The Green Hornet, The Shadow...I own this show. It is among one of the best. Orson Welles was a great actor on Radio and in the movies...War of the Worlds (1938) He and his Mercury Players scared some people that night. Amazing. Thanks for putting this on this amazing time machine.

I was particularly taken by the sense of Orwellian dystopia inherent in the dialogue. Coupled with the post-nuclear Marxist invective, I think it had a breath-taking feel of early Baudelaire. I see the influence of Brecht here, yes?
Hah! Rampant capitalism! "Forced off the tennis courts"! You Hollywood big-time producers are all alike.... LOLOLOLOL So, are we going to see the sequel to "M is for Muncha", or are you going to do a Robert Altman on us and be all maverick and anti-establishment? ;)

I'm sickened by the overt commercialism of this film, is this merely an advert for Tesco's?? I suspect the creators of the stunningly perceptive "M is for Muncha" have let its success go to their heads. I weep...
A breathtakingly accurate rendering of post-modern angst. Kudos to the creators of this little gem...
