Ship excursions were expensive but you could walk to the Ha Long cruise terminal inside and there are counters that sell boat rides and caves tour at really low prices! @@wangyang7239 Hi Wang, we have four people in our group and we paid US$40 per person just for the driver to get around Bangkok. But it was a long story that we got to Amphawa Floating Market! As for the boat ride, we paid way too much! If you watch the video on Bangkok Floating Market( Common Scam in Bangkok ) you’ll understand what we mean! You can walk around both floating markets by foot and decide later whether you want to ride the boat and if in a group boat, it is really cheap! You need to tell your driver that you want to visit the floating markets by foot before he drives you to the jetty where you pay high prices, just like us!! Hope this helps! @@jamesw3211 Hi James, we took all tours just from the port independent tour operators. The ship excursions were expensive and we didn’t pre-book online. Just right from the port, there were quite a few tour operators and they will show you their itinerary and the prices. Pay only after the tour and back to the port! Hope this helps! @@jamesw3211Almost forgot! We didn’t stay overnight at both overnight docks! If you like the tour operators and drivers, you can actually arrange for the same driver to pick you up the next day as what we did in Bangkok. Hope this helps!

@@first12months Thanks for watching and commenting! Sorry to hear that you guys have bad experiences in this floating market! We too have very bad experiences going to Bangkok Floating Market! We knew Bangkok floating market is the best and biggest in Bangkok! But we have a driver that brought us there after 4pm and everything was closed!!! The worst part was we paid 3000 Baht for the boat tour for a floating market that already closed!!! We were on a cruise and too late to go to the same place but to Pattaya city the next day! Overall no big deal! Learn as we travel!😅Cheers! Thanks again!

So sorry to hear what happened to you, Now I don’t feel as bad as I felt before😂😅 Watch out for the taxi drivers especially the ones that don’t say TAXI METER on the top , that was our first bad experience from the airport to Bangkok Sukhumvit.

@@tnguyen835 Hi T Nguyen, we didn’t got any receipt from the port tour operators in Halong Bay, Vietnam! There were quite a few tour operators at the port terminal! Not many will go to Ninhbinh as it was 3 and half hours each way! The tour operators will ask around for a driver who will take you there as what happened to us! It cost us US$220 for a private vehicle(two of us) excluding entrance fees, meals and gratuity! For port Chan May, there was a tour company called the Chan May Port Tour Company. They will show you their itineraries for all city nearby and Hoi An was one of them! This company can be trusted and have good drivers! And they will give you receipts! Again, excluding entrance fees, meals and gratuities! As for Macao, as we were at the ticket counter for the ferry service, there was a man who was selling complementary ferries tickets close by! Keep an eye and hear around the ferry ticket counter before buying from the ferry service company! More expensive and sometimes sold out sailing! And the guy who sells complementary tickets might have the time of sailing you want! We didn’t stay overnight in Macao, just a day trip! Hope this helps! Have a great cruise in January!

Me too❣️ I will embark from Singapore 27 Dec, 12 days sail to HK, follow by 12 days sail back to Singapore, be home for Christmas 21 Dec. I wouldn’t be going any shore excursions, simply enjoying the quiet life on board with sumptuous food and comfortable cabin😊

On our channel, there are videos on Hong Kong Budget Travel Part-1 which have details on Hong Kong Airbnb at Tsim Sha Tsui area along Nathan Road and very close to Tsim Sha Tsui’s MTR station! But the unit is very small! If you watch the video you will notice that the area is fantastic! Close to major tourist attractions and restaurants & cafes! As for Singapore, stay around Marina Bay and Orchard Road area are best places but expensive! Mid-range budget still have at smaller hotels and Inns. Chinatown & Central Business District also offers great accommodation! Best is find a hotel close to MRT(Subway) making your travel around Singapore so much easier! Very safe to travel by MRT and friendly & easy to get around everywhere in Singapore! And give yourself an extra 2 to 3 hours to visit Singapore Changi Airport before departure! So much to see and shop and eat in the airport! Hope this helps! Please don’t hesitate if you need more information! Thanks!

Yes, love this place! So many different kinds of freshwater fish in the pond! A swarm of Koi fish, black catfish, arowana fish and the rare white catfish! I can just stand there and watch them all day! But we have to move on to see the stunning palace and temples in the City! Love it!❤️

Yeah, so glad we did this cruise with celebrity! Last port of call was a beautiful island of Ko Samui, Thailand! Easy and relax strolling around the town and enjoy the local food and foot massage at an unbelievable rate and excellent service! Absolutely! Be free and comfortable! Feel like wearing casual, go for buffet! Remember to book your seats for your main dining before or first day of the cruise! Lobster Night, better go main dining! Tour operator will show you the pictures of itinerary and tell you the cost and time duration. Four people will be cheaper and negotiate the price! Hi Tonyo, Thanks for watching and commenting! Yes, you can drive or take a taxi from Bangkok to the Damnoen Saduak floating market main entrance without having to pay for a boat ride! The market is free by foot for both markets! You can tour around the floating markets for free and decide later you want a boat ride! As what happened to us was that we were told that going to the market was by boat only and already closed! There’s Grab, Bolt and InDrive(similar to Uber) in Thailand. Recommend use Grab than taxi or tuk-tuks! Happy travels!
