We adopted our Pom when he was 6or7 years old,the shelter wasn’t sure he only had three teeth. My little guy had a rough start he fell off a couch injuring his hip and the trachea issue . We are very careful with him a coat when it’s very cold ,pee pads ,he has a cough that isn’t bad but as soon as his cough changes a little bit off to the vet we go . He is on diuretics and pills for his heart . We keep track of his heart murmur. He is 13 years old now but still loves running around in the backyard. He loves car rides he goes everywhere with us ,never had a problem with him getting carsick. I wish we had a more thorough history of his health issues and the fall as he gets older he favors that back leg and limps .

Poms are smarter than most people. Poms are very curious and notice everything. They are great dogs and companions. They seem to never grow up. Poms are little but get in trouble by thinking they are very. Only an irresponsible owner has a Pom a on a couch without stairs. My Pom uses the stairs on the couch several times a day to get on the back of the couch and look out the window at everything.

I love my twin Poms! They are naughty though! Very tiny, one is 1.7 pounds and the other is 2.5 pounds. So they can be fragile. They love popcorn! Mine don’t bark, they just whine and growl!!! ❤

I wanted brown and tan girl idk what she’s going turn out like but I don’t think she’s the color I wanted I’m ok with whatever shade but I named her evee from Pokémon that’s why I wanted her Color’s to stay the same 😅 and my boy pom is milo I have well had 2 big dogs Meika and mya but mya passed away almost 8 months ago I had all my dogs starting with M til now bc I can’t find a pokemkn name I like with a m 😅. I’m getting evee I don’t have her yet I adopted her but she’s not 8 weeks til next month can’t wait to get her I think milo will like her a lot she will be small like him

My 10 year old Pom's favorite place to go is the local hardware store which is pet friendly. She usually gets petted by three or four customers. Several of the employees know her and pet her and the people at the check out give her small milk bones as we leave. She enjoys sniffing around the store at all the stuff.

Pomeraians is beautiful

Poms are very faith full, determined not stubborn, very smart and trainable and very loyal. Small on the outside and large on the inside.

The Pom double coat helps protect them from the sun. My Pom takes sun baths in the 90 F plus heat in Texas, east of Houston. She goes outdoors from the AC, off the shade of the patio and lays for 20 or 30 minutes in direct sun. Comes inside when she wants. I have felt of her coat and the outer coat is hot to the touch. However putting my fingers through the hair to the under coat it is cool. Granted while she is in the sun she is not walking or doing anything, just laying there. She is 11 years old. My other Pom lived to 16 and did the same thing.

I bought a pomeranian recently drove across the country for her. I alway wanted a teddy bear pomeranian but i accidentally got fox. I love her still lol i thought they were all the same.

The brushing isn’t that bad. My Pom doesn’t bark that much. They aren’t the difficult either
