You should learn music theory, it’s vital to play what is actually the song and the music. For example, do not overplay, every note is there for a reason. You don’t have to play toms when there are no tom fills at all. Also, if there are no 16s on hi hat, then don’t play it. This song is a funky, groovy song, it doesn’t have to be this fast as it doesn’t want to be. But most importantly, music theory. You have a really nice studio tho, and keep it up!
You should learn how to not judge one’s drumming ability based off of a single drum cover out of hundreds. Music is subjective, there are many who have liked this cover. I believe you should play the drums similarly as the drums in the original song but it’s ok to add a few subtle nuances and that’s what I did in this drum cover but thank you for your opinion.

I watched your covers over the years and frankly most of them suck...usually watch to get a chuckle...perfect example roger troutman i wanna be your man....off beat, kept the original drums in it....why post that's shit? Dont post unless it's right....sorry to be so blount....off beat, not close to the original, but this one is quite good ..
