Should of been Robson and Hoddle in the middle even in 82 instead of Wilkins and Copplle and Robson was always injured
Sporting de Toulon was his first love as a club. My club ❤
He was the a God.
One of the best number 9s ever
Shearer could NEVER be rated as one of the great football players.
My favorite player for ever first saw him 1992 france vs Brazil friendly game until 2002 was his biggest fan in my country iran the best left winger of all time and the most handsome player of all time❤❤❤❤❤❤
The only English manager who had a connection with Scholes.
Brilliant. My favourite, Arsenal too. And I was in the youth team in 84.
legend
Shearer new director of football club Newcastle united 🖤⚽💯
Strange how much of a forgotten icon he's become. A magnetic player on his day. I'm not sure I've seen a player in the league that had his range of capabilities - tall, strong, fast, extraordinarily two-footed, could play a range of attacking positions, and one of the best dribblers in PL history. Houllier singling him out for blame for not qualifying in 94 absolutely defines him as a manager - cowardly and pitiful. In fact, he played for some real moody and joyless managers in his career - Graham, Moyes, Gregory - poor sod.
My first love..Monsieur Ginola 🖤⚪🏆💪🏽⚽..
Alan shearer. My biggest striker of all time. Yes u are.
straight red for pallister
Despite the wealth of talent we have in today's England team in 2024, we don't have a player with the gigantic profile tat Alan Shearer had. He was prolific, chose his boyhood club over fortunes and silverware, and retired as the Premier leagues' higher scorer ever. Considering the legendary players we've had in Englands Premier league, it's an absolute delight to have an Englishman top of that pile, and probably always will have an Englishman on top of that list. Alan Shearer is that man. Him, and him alone. 260 premier league goals... Two hundred and sixty... The King.
Simply The Best
I had stand up arguments over the years whenever I’ve said Hoddle was world class, and after having just watched Arsene Wenger call him world class I feel validated. Anyone who says he wasn’t world class clearly knows nothing about football.
My footballing hero. Always will be.
The both feet thing so young seals it... a lesson for all youngsters
Andy Cole is always kind to every Man United fans :)
Such a shame he didn't have the guts to take the next step and become a great player. And of course he was going to score most goals no one else in the teams could. He had little man syndrome and it's written all over him
🤣🤣🤣 What a stupid comment ??
And of course,Gazza made it about himself… Then admitted Hoddle was right !
The English Media want to destroy every English Manager !! Why listen to them…
Now,he’s available as an assistant coach to England ?? See how the F.A haven’t changed to suggest it ?? And I’m Irish !!
Useless England managers, stuck in 50s with no idea how to change.
Nonsense!
Grande 💪
I love HIM
20:07 If I had to choose a front 2 for England over the last 45 or so years I have been watching football the first name is Shearer. The second is much less certain. Mainly because it's 6 or 7 players for one position. It's probably a tossup between Owen prime and Rooney, although I'd take Lineker's almost ethereal knack of being in the right place at the right time purely for goals. He's right about Euro 96, I hold my head every time I see the Gazza stretch. The streets were crazy that night in London never forget it like a warzone.
The greatest 9 of all time.
Brilliant striker
By God,he knew how to score goals,he was robbed of two seasons through serious injuries, which robbed him of his pace, one of the all time great strikers.
If Brian Glough and Peter Taylor was manger of England during HODDLE time. England would have plenty of thophies in the cabinet by Now. ✨💯⚽
I just enjoy this video again and again. As a Latin American with some UK experience, I have great memories of EURO 96 and that so strong English squad. Myself, unfortunately unable to see Alan live at EPL stadiums. But....what an attitude and strength on the pitch. A clinical finisher.... Respect to Alan.😉👏👏
How I wish I could go back to 1998/99
He never won the champions League
Traditionally England don't like mavericks, in any sport unfortunately
I feel sory for those of us who never saw that England team, and we vastly underachieved in that generation. Great player.
Can't stand him
Oh well.
Thomas Sorenson said no Alan...
Nice video, I love it! Unfortunately, the sound goes wrong from 18:30 to the end. Do you still have the original video? Could you reupload it or provide a link to download it? It would be nice. Thank you!
Andy cole is andy cole and he was brilliant!! And always thought i got him
Even viewing the world with a very extreme long head he done well! Most people would of not left the house nevermind get ahead the way he did, ge really was head and shoulders above others and had a long career and has left a long legacy😊
Scholes made RVN a very good player
Yes 1000s of title world cups 🥤 off orange juice
Chris sutton is in good shape
If Kane is to break the EPL record.... Do it wearing the black n white shirt. Screw Spurs... Escape to the Northeast.... Oh and bring Heung min Son with ya 😅
He should have went to Manchester United
I watched Glen Hoddle first in 1979+you just knew even after seeing his first touch he was a special talent On absolute mudheaps ,as pitches were then In his day,he could still do it.Just imagine what he could today with more protection and on snooker table surfaces. He would have been incredible. Platini said if he'd been French he'd have won 150 caps instead of a paltry 53. 2 footed,a laser like vision, pinging passes mere mortals could only dream of. Englands management were more interested in workrate than so called luxury players like him. Wenger said that if he'd been French,he would have been regarded as a great player. And in my eyes anyway,he truly was. He produced moments of absolute magic which I'll never forget.
So nostalgic. Grew up watching him from a different land full of Liverpool and Manchester United fans with very limited TV broadcast coverage of the league. He was an inspiration. Pure quality!
He re
