With the roar of our bikes,
the silence of the encroaching desert was heard;
We knelt and planted,
In solidarity with the people of Gombe,
Fighting hard to grow a jungle of trees
to halt nature's dreadful approach.
Alas, what an experience!
The culture, the food, the people, most importantly, the reason!

I did not eat with them because I saw one better place across where they sold my kind of food - roasted yam & plantain with fish garnished with utazi and peppered sauce.
