This channel is simply what I am doing day in and day out and I am bringing you along for the ride. I will be working on wide ranging projects such as automotive maintenance and repair ( both mechanical and cosmetic), welding and fabrication, landscaping and home remodel and repair to name just a few things. The disclaimer!! I am not a professional in any of the areas I will be working in. The channel is solely intended for entertainment purposes and you should definitely not do what I do as I am an idiot! ;).

Harbor Freight winch parasitic draw issue resolved?
มุมมอง 53328 วันที่ผ่านมา
Based on information I saw on an episode of Watch Wes Work I determined that the repeated dead battery issue on my four wheeler may be caused by a parasitic draw from the winch. I wall through a step by step process to add a power disconnect to just the winch with the goal of stopping this draw. Big thanks to Wes for the information he put out in his video that helped me identify the cause of m...

What turn signal lever do you have there?
Honestly I don’t know as it is just the one that came on the jeep. The brand of mini jeep is XPro, not sure if that will help any. Sorry I don’t have more information.
I'm always nervous about welding on the frames of my equipment. Someone talk me out of it. Do I need to be nervous? Doesn't it destroy temper and increase risks of cracking and breaking?
Hopefully there is someone in this comment section with way more knowledge and experience than me who can give you a solid answer. I don’t move this tractor on a trailer much and when I do it is only a very short distance. To date though there has not been any issues.
No offense here guys who spend part of their lives upgrading these “go carts” into real cars. (Who cannot leave the mini jeep 125cc alone as is designed, which is a fun toy for kids and adults). It’s like guys with too much money and time are missing the point, can’t help themselves to try and take “Pinocchio” and turn him into a “real boy,” but you all (regardless of you tube content creators) end up with “Frankenstein” mini jeeps instead. Massimo makes a larger version, go buy that one instead.
@@michaeljkowar no offense taken as you are entitled to your opinion. My opinion though is that you are missing the point of what I am doing at least, and that is I am having fun making and putting upgrades on this “go cart”. It is definitely not about trying to turn it into a real car. It is just my wife’s little yard crawler and that is all it will ever be. So at the end of the day it is just about having fun and enjoying life’s journey.😁
@@HeadgearGarage I appreciate your abilities, and I own the tractor supply version of the mini jeep also, it’s very fun, so I’m interested in the mini jeep content in general, but I see guys taking them to MOAB, going cross continents dropping huge engines and such, more than half of you are “having fun” making it something it’s not. That’s my point, to make it more clear. I’m glad you are having fun!
Nice job on the steering wheel extension. You could sell those easily to the mini jeep community I believe.
Thank you I appreciate it. It was a fun project.
Are you ready for the Jeep?
@@bradstiver1539 yes I am
That looks great! Nice job!
Awesome job!!

Fireball would be proud!
I hope so.
I would have liked to watch all of this video, but it sounded like the attack of the ravens trying to get through your shop roof !!!!
@@darellsunderlin4670 it was actually a combination of wind and high temperatures causing the building to expand. Unfortunately insulation is expensive and I can’t wait for perfect conditions. 😉🤙🏻
Can't hear anything
Yes I am not sure why it is doing that. It is fine on my mobile device but on my tv I have to absolutely jack the volume to hear it. Sorry about that as I have not figured out why, how or if I can fix it.
😂 five minute job became a five hour job.
Actually took a week to get all the parts in. 😂😂. Then 30 minutes later everything is fine!!😅
looks great. but to make cloudyness doesn't come back for I would have put the McGuire spray sealant . it work great 👍
Thank you for the tip. I appreciate it. I have put some Mother’s carnauba wax on them.

Nothing is more permanent than a temporary fix
Just make sure the grooves on the back are greased and try to get the same spring compression. That’s the best you can do to make it work
That backhoe seat is genius
Nicely done sir!

It's looking good. Just wondering if you have a video of doing the degreasing and power washing it. Also what products you used
@@wadestanford1392 I will have the video of me pressing washing it coming out next week. Working on editing now. I used Super Clean at a 50/50 mix for the engine degreasing. Must be a sick joke
Looking forward to following along.
Never owned a car like that. It usually means it's a German car and I won't go near them.
@@danven1256 I can definitely respect that, they are definitely be a money pit once things start to fail.
I can’t wait to follow along brother! Fireball was a great man! Good luck finding that exhaust leak .
I want a set like that, where do i get them? Skid row ftw!
@@Kevan777 I got that set as Harbor Freight.
No one is buying a vw on purpose
That's a communist point of view I would never buy a car that had studs instead of the American lug nut
@@williamlukacik4648 Ok. That is an interesting point of view. God bless the USA. Proud Veteran and American.
You’re right, Volkswagen doesn’t have a North American plant in Tennessee. Btw, 80% of their parts are American made. Ford also uses Volkswagen engines. Lol
I have a 100% Made In America car. Plymouth. Built in 1946 by real men who just won a world war. It has studs. And, front passenger side as well as the rear drivers side have left handed threads. I do NOT take it to a tire shop, I take the wheels to the tire shop!
Thank you!
@@brianheaton303 it was my absolute honor. I just hope I can do him justice on this project moving forward. 😉
Tech Tip Friday on a Wednesday put them right next to each other vs opposite points and have 2 of each flavor.
@@ironcross420 I appreciate the tech tip. I will definitely do that next time. If you have any other tip or trick I always appreciate them.
Dont buy a car with studs? Or convert it to lugs like any rational human.
@@francisphillipeck4272 you have peeked my curiosity. Why do you consider it irrational to have studs on a car. Again I am asking this as a serious question. If you can give me more information/details I would greatly appreciate it.
Not buying a German car, I understand. But converting to lugs is totally unnecessary. The two lugs shown is a fine idea.
What’s wrong with Volkswagen?
If you own a quality vehicle you won't have to worry about it.
How is owning a "quality vehicle" going to prevent you from having a flat tire 50 miles away from somebody who can fix or replace that tire?
Nice repair man 👌🏻 greats from the netherlands🇳🇱
