Buy at your own risk. If you lose the dongle to connect the keyboard you can't replace just the dongle. You have to buy a whole new keyboard. >:(

I have two questions to ask but I plan on adding a 4 TB SSD once I order it online off Amazon but if I replace the 512 GB SSD with the 4 TB SSD will I lose all the stuff that I installed on the 512 GB SSD? Also it shows on my Acer Nitro 5 that there are available slots for 2 X SSD + 1 HDD so does that mean I can add a Gen 4 M.2 4 TB SSD without replacing the 512 GB SSD? Thank you.

Awesome video - I just bought the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58 - with 1TB, and 16gb ram (came at a good price as i wanted a 4060 card) - and was worried about storage expansion. Your video has calmed my fears! Especially considering I've already filled up a third of my SSD already on games xD

"You can not game on this device" That's non-sense.. You can game on it if you try hard enough, you won't get great frame rates or performance but it'll game.

They were selling this model in India with a slightly better 3070ti GPU and a somewhat slower processor , the 12650h , also they cut corners with storage and halved it to 1tb but i guess it works as it all came to around a 1250$ package which is still pretty decent. The display was the same 1440p with 15.6 inches.

bro run two 16 gb identical sticks .... two 8gb sticks are generally faster than any other config unless it's 32 gigs total with 16*2 config

wait, I have a question on the 16gb DDR4 Ram when your buying it from amazon there's 2 slots for it. So when your opening the laptop to put the ram for it do you just put 1 for it or do you have to put 2 for it? and I was wondering because from the video you didn't remove the other one which is the green one and considering , you only put one black for it. so do you only put 1 or 2? which I just wanna make sure.

Thank you for this video. I'm gearing up to try upgrading my current laptops ram, it'll be my second time attempting a ram upgrade. The first time I tried it was with an MSI laptop and it was a complete failure because even after unscrewing it the back wouldn't come off. For this laptop it looks more straightforward.

brother, do you know how to make this shit ass laptop work full power? It can't even run Dota 2 or CS2 with proper FPS, I've looked many solutions, but none of them works. I saw that this is because of shitty engeneering from Acer, maybe you know the solution?

Battery life on this laptop is atrocious. Much, much worse than the Gen4 of this laptop. And this laptop gets seriously hot! I would skip this particular model.

I have a question is it normal to not use anti static wrist trap or do you touch a metal to discharge static electricity before touching a laptop? I'm planning to put another 8gb ram to my laptop.

SATA data cable is horrible, it has to be lined up just perfect or it won't work and HDD/SSD won't be recognized. It's the worst SATA cable I've ever had to work with. Took 3 attempts (using a magnifying glass) to get them all to line up just right before closing the latch. All other laptops I've worked on, as you push the ribbon into the connector it is forced to auto align - not on this laptop. So if your HDD/SSD doesn't show up in BIOS, then keep playing with the SATA cable until you get it just right. Personally worst laptop I've ever worked on.
