PSA Baseball Card Submission

My latest submission results. Mostly 1972-1975 Topps baseball cards. Sorry for the slow start with the cardboard hiding the grades. I dropped it after about 8 cards into the sub. Some nice hits hear! Not many vintage submissions on TH-cam so I thought I'd share this. Enjoy!
1971 Topps Baseball Unopened Rack Pack Break - Part 1
มุมมอง 67K12 ปีที่แล้ว
Here's a video I shot of my opening a scarce series 1 1971 Topps baseball rack pack. The video is split into three parts, one for each pocket of the pack. Be sure to watch part 2 and 3! I'll also be uploading a video of my breaking a 1965 Topps 5c wax pack.
I remember buying my first baseball cards were 1970 cello rack packs at local Kresge store.
The Dock Ellis is a great card.
Fantastic job on the entire song John, way to go!
None of those cards are worth what you think they are worth because no one is buying 1971 singles, at least not for what so-called book is. 😂 Just put those silly cardboard scraps in your bike’s spokes and go try to have a bit of fun or just toss ‘em in a commons box because the only people enjoying them are nostalgic folks, not collectors. 🤣
Cards from three different series...an obvious re-wrap.
That Pete Rose saved ya!
Why did you stop doing videos? You can get paid now.
That was hot Brother
Very rare to have enough money to buy a rack pack back then. It was like hitting the lottery.
This video came up on my feed and the thumbnail had Eddie Watt. I interviewed him a few months ago so I had to watch your video. Great looking Topps set. Did you ever send any of them in for grading? Too dad the Munson wasn't centered better.
Subscribed, John. Love the vintage stuff!
any card is worth grading and you saying is wasn't means you're a moron
You should call out these assholes that sell these resealed packs
Destroy the wax rapper that way it can't be resoled
I’m afraid to ask what you paid for it in 2002….but after checking the values, obviously it would have been better not to open it, even though it’s a re-sealed pack.
Hunt that seller down like a dog and teach him some manors
👏🔥👍
Awesome cards great video 💯
May I ask, how much did you pay per card?......
On the 75' Topps John Odom, It's pronounced John O-dum. His nick-name was "Blue Moon"....Blue Moon Odom..I remembered "Blue Moon" Odom in the 1972 World Series when he slided home and was called out and bumped the Umpire disagreeing in anger with the bum call...., he later Joined the Atlanta Braves......decent pitcher.......
U forgot to mention Ted Simmons Rookie!
Usually the gum is on thr bottom and stains the last card
Invest in a x-acto knife
Its ashame card collectors have to get all the no-name players because of this type of monkey business of opening vintage packs to take out all the stars and re pack them with all the commons!🥴
Sorry something corrupted this video and got it out of synch. It seemed to correct itself at one point but is now corrupted again. I tried to figure out how to fix it but have had no luck. If anyone has suggestions, let me know what to do. I no longer have the source video to repost it.
Hi, I am building the 1971 set raw. Do you have any of these singles for sale?
Wow....The Pete Rose
This is awesome man. Hope you can rip more of this someday
Made my day watching this chief. Thanks
Why can’t they reuse the same gum?
Jim Hunter good card
They did an excellent job sealing it then
I'm 62 and i never saw any type of packaging other than wax packs at a 7-11 store.
Clearly, this pack had been opened and resealed…the Astros Rookie card was pulled from the middle of the stack…yet it had wax/gum stains all over it!..poster stated he’d paid $200 for it off of EBay…cards were worth about $10…what a ripoff
Thanks for straightening me out on this one. Best lesson on TH-cam for Anytime. Accurate for live performance IMHO
Wow the scissors actually cut
wish u would do a lesson on winds of march!
Manny Mota always makes me think of the movie Airplane haha. Nice Catfish card before that. :-)
I have a 71 Aaron that looks like a 9 or 10 psa...need to send it in soon
John, I know that it's a longshot, however, do you still have the Dodger's rookie card from this pack break over 10 years ago, and if you do, is it for sale?
you must be the guy that grades my cards.
Fuckin AAA...memories galore...dude you rock!!!
The people that open packs are scum and almost as bad as pedifile!
This one was bogus so I didn't violate the sacrilege..
Weirdly out of time. But good
The ONLY 1971 Topps baseball card PSA 10 that I ever got came from a Rack Pack #312 so far it's still has a POP of one.
That's the way I like to see cards. Just show us the cards and move on. No damn Drama. I collected all those from 1962 to 1973. Came back from Navy and brother n law sold them than all for drugs. Boxes of them to pawn shops. Sad but true.
Great playing and putting in the small guitar runs too. By the way, love the les Paul .
I'm a collector of baseball card gum pieces. I'm pretty irate that PSA is not grading pieces of gum. I have a near mint gum square from a 1975 Topps.
Wow ty so much it’s exciting for someone like me who can’t afford to do this but love the old cards
Awesome. Thanks for sharing. Those 1971 are one of my favorites. I've been collecting cards since I was a kid.
Thanks for watching.
