Honest reply is both are good considering what gear you carry and your nature of work. I have both and love both. So far both have served me well. So it's very difficult for me to point out which one.

It is very niche, but I found your reviews helpful-personally I was looking for a bag for rough civilian use, for a short person. Something that would pack a laptop, camera, clothes and other essentials comfortably for continuous travels back and forth and potentially for small hikes and treks.

Yes you buy it. It will fit. The straps are long enough, for you adjust according to your body height and build.

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. I don't know why there is an extra stitching on the bottle compartment. There should be a zip that helps to expand the bottle compartment. Try and match it with the photos on Amazon or on the Fgear website. Maybe it could be a defect in the manufacturing. Yes you can carry a laptop in it. But I would suggest you put your laptop in a sleeve and then put it into the bag.

So far I have not faced any issue regarding the quick release strap. But normally due to constant use and passage of time they do tend to become loose and open up. This is a drawback of these types of clips and even the ones which have magnetic clips.

@@rohitnarayanan6868 It all comes down to what type of lenses you carry in your bag. If you are carrying those big tele photo lenses then they are not going to fit. I am carrying a small camera of mine the Canon M50 Mark II along with the 50mm, 24mm and the kit lens 15 to 45 mm lenses. They all fit but if I take my old tele lens then it's not going to fit.

Yes it's 1000D Cordura Fabric. The 1000D refers to the type of the Cordura Fabric. You get different types of Cordura Fabric such as 800D, 600D, 400D, 1050D. It all depends what type or level of Cordura you want. Each comes with different price tags.

Yes civilians can buy a tactical chest rig. The right here refers to the chest vest. For civilians the chest plate that is available is different to the ones available for the army or law enforcement. I had one of the chest rigs along with one plate. which I use to use for my workouts in the gym. Moreover a lot of athletes use this chest rig along with the plates for their workouts. Since it's available to buy then they must be legal to buy as these are not armour plates ones. Armour plates ones such as Level 2 or Level 3 ones are for the army and law enforcement. You can check out from Google for more info or you can DM to Armasen Tactical on their Instagram account and they will inform you. Also some of chest rigs are available on Amazon also.
