@@Adventures_With_Indie Kerala with Marie Curie Training is better than I expected, like you said, 20km isnt enough. Aiming for 50km days, with a 1000km target this year, half way and started riding approx May so I think decent, for a 46 year old anyway.

I really need to figure out the logistics of ride day with regards to getting bikepack gear, I don't want to use a backpack riding 55 miles, also want to take my drone, depending on the weather.

haha I think I posted this video a month after filming, it was totally closed for renovation. I did drive past a lot of interesting looking places. My shoe will be a priceless relic one day! I also have drone footage of the castle on the channel. I will check out your channel properly soon, just manic at work at the moment.

Had a good session yesterday, almost done editing, will probably post it tomorrow morning. Going back to Richmond Park tomorrow probably, it's got the hills that I need for the punishment. Those woods you mentioned over the other side of the canal, are they OK for a novice? Not the the MTB trails with the jumps etc, but just for a general ridearound with hills etc? I still need to get drone footage of Waverly.

@@Adventures_With_Indie fair play buddy how many miles did you do? I'll look forward to the video 👍 Richmond park sounds like a good choice you'll definitely need hill training as I know there are some long ones on the L2B. The woods off the canal probably aren't the best as they are quite brutal almost vertical climbs , very do able but as it's woodlands and the ground is so loose the gearing just to get up them won't translate to training for road hills. It is a good laugh and worth looking round all the same. In all honesty if your going to Waverly at some point the road from there to Farnham is a good long climb hill it's only a couple of miles but it's a bit of a beast it's kicked my arse a couple of times. If you fancy it sometime I can show you a loop on and off road there that's maybe 8-10 miles, The route along the canal to where I met you to Odium castle and back is a good journey it's about 40 mile round trip its a good steady journey slightly up hill all the way and will be good training for you in a few weeks

@@krs4976 I did 15miles, not huge, but its more than I have done before and also my first time on hills. The woods sound great, but not at my level at the moment, I think once I have done the L2B, I might be ready or it. That Waverly hill loop I need to do before the LTB, the 40 miles trip I think would be good 2 weeks before LTB for sure. I dropped you an email 'Pilgrim' 😆
