Make a nice street and strip car like my Galaxie XL. I would put a 4:11 in it and AOD for freeway use. Buy a pr of Coker cheater slicks to put on when you go to the Ford nostalgia drags. Hopefully it won't be another "lawn ornament"

I think you have done well. I have cloned a 64 r code, then Donald Allen sold me a 63 300 q code matching # I was in the middle of a frame off and went through a divorce of a 21 yr marriage and judge ordered it sold. Any way I have always wanted a 65 r code. I have found a 65 500 z code fact 4 sped. No console and this 88 yr old man is gonna fix it up right…… just like his 71 Torino 2dr post fact 4spd 351 4v he bought new and is letting ruin. Finding 427 engines is easy if you got the money, it’s the little parts that were unique to those engine codes that you can’t find and when you do you have to pay their price for them. Great car my dad worked for a Ford dealership in the service dept from 1961-1991 and I grew up on fact parts and stories of great hi-po Fords.
