I'm basically a Gojira cover channel at this point. Sorry I just really like their music and I know how to play a lot of it so......
Anyways I think everything on this is pretty good. The "Plastic bag in the sea" vocals could prolly be better but it's whatevs. Really like the mix and my drumming on this. Double kick has gotten easier for me very recently which is awesome. I need to work on blast beats so maybe I can do a song with those next.

This and World to Come are like the 2 most important songs ever to me fr. Anyways I like how I got my drums to sound on this. I think overall the mix is pretty good. The vocals have so many layers which I kinda suck at making all sound right with each other, but I think its passable

Love this era of Gojira and I love how the OG mix of this song sounds, but I thought it to be a little dampened and muddy so I just cleared it up a bit

I've wanted to cover this song for a whillleee now but thought it would be super hard. It was a bit difficult but the hardest part was mixing. I am happy with the result tho. Def one of the best songs of all time

@@purpp5610 straight up I’m using a boss katana mk 2 amp with a Tight Metal ST dist pedal. And then in my DAW it’s just a lot of Eq work. Boosting up the mids and such. edit: using a sm57 mic and quad tracking

@ my parents are super musical so I’m sure I got some good genes in me. But I got a guitar when I was like 16 or something so like almost 5 years ago. But it took me about a year and a half to be able to play how I wanted I did have a drum set from like age 8-10 or something but I wasn’t good at all. I had to relearn basically all of it when I got another one back in May I’ve been practicing vocals since 17. That took like 3 years to get good at. Or at least decent

Pretty good one! I remastered Bleeding some time ago, and this is by no means worse. It's amazing how good this record sounds on its own, when compared to Saturate or even The Link.

Good work! You're there with the vocals (and great harmonies too!). Just needs some mixing changes for them to shine more. The bass is there and adds some real sweetness to the track. Solos are REAL clean and I love your personal flair to them, but likewise for the vocals they need to be more prominent. Great tone and playing overall, still, this is a big step for you!

way too high freqs...try cutting around 1k - 10k khz and it will sound MUCH better, trust me
