AmsOil Interceptor 2 stroke oil
มุมมอง 11K7 ปีที่แล้ว
AmsOil Interceptor simply the best 2 stroke oil for your Paramotor. It has a low flash point and cleaning additives so it really babies you motor. Second choice would be Castrol Power RS TT 2T. Third choice MOTUL 710 2T.
Paramotor Nirvana Instinct Belt adjust

This video is about upper pulley belt drive on a Nirvana Instinct
Amsoil 100.1 in my 300
What brand of fuel line? The kind I got was too stiff and coiled up in the tank
Interceptor and Dominator only have 20-40% synthetic oil in it. I've used Interceptor without issues. I admit I always thought they were both full synthetic oils, I guess I'm a semi-synthetic guy but I got some full synthetic Klotz to try out now.
I use Olive Oil...but only in the fall season..in the summer l use Extra Virginia oil...it works well.
Your facts on the Castor927 is false Great oil
I have a 1990 550 stand up jet ski . What oil do you guys recommend ?
How long was yer fuel line in there before you changed it out?
About 14” of 3x16 x 5x16 oregon line
Sorry mis read your question, about 3 years maybe 4.
Lol Glad you saw that, I didn't want to rewrite the question without sounding like a snot. I changed mine out about a year ago.... so I've got a little time ahead.
You used the wrong oil, castor is used in big hp 2 smokes. You should have been using maxima formula k2
you are correct, but kinda the point I was making not all 2 stroke oil is the same. Paramotor community is just now getting more aware of that fact.
Bden running 927 castor in my yz125 for years now. Never, NEVER have i ever had any "gumming" happen. Id say its the best out there for race bikes, in your case i think you used the wromg oil for your application of use. Just my 2cents
I run formulak2 and before that I ran some nasty oil and would run shindawa red armor with it because it would gum it up
Thanks so much for the great video. Say I am considering buying a Nirvana Instinct NS230 for solo and tandem flying. Can you do a video in your impressions of the Nirvana Instinct (a owners review).
As an owner of the Instinct, I love the paramotor it is a complete system well thought out in advance. What do I mean, well it was built with reserve in mind connects to the harness not the frame (awesome) whether front or under the seat mount. the agama floatation designed for the Nirvana line. The have smoke systems, extra fuel tank for extended flying range. ect, ect,. my personal favorite touch is the inflatable air cushion in the harness.
I just need to look good and smell good, let the mechanic dig it out
Castor oil is better The hotter it gets the better it gets
I never see how is made a paramotor 👍 it's your homemade motor or a specific motor for this application ?
What is the oil ratio you use and what engine are you using?
break in 40:1 after that 50.1
@@rightwingparamotor2285 Cool. what engine are you using? is it a simo Mini evo?
@@ANNAI89 Nirvana
I wish finding an oil wasn't so full of bs.
Hey bud I gotta ask I see you haven't made any videos in a while. There very helpful and appreciated
Keep making videos! Great tips
Never been a fan of amsoil, just my opinion. I won't ever run amsoil again
Why is that?
LoL . Dumb ass .. it's not made for your machine.. simple.
Yeah not really surprised at that result the maxama 927 is ment for racing applications where the engine is torn down between races. The advantage of 927 is that it can hold a engine together through some really demanding situations. And then when it burns contributes energy to the burn rather than sucking it up. For a high performance application that your not going to be tearing down your engine between weekends the maxama k2 is a much better choice. Not quite as much power but it keeps the engine clean and troble free. But I have to admit I have yet to tear down a amsoil engine.
How did you fit the GoPro mount to the solar x helmet? Mine seems to have a central edge and I’m worried it won’t have enough surface area to stick well
Following. Same issue
@@TheArieldp73 hey, I ended up sticking mine central and then packing the gaps around the edge with tissue mixed with glue. Works well.
Amsoil is not a oil company but rather a marketing company. You shpuld check out Schaeffer manufacturing. Since 1839 Americas oldest oil company with some of the best lubricants in the world. www.schaefferoil.com Also sold on amazon prime!
Try dominator
Lane Tanzey Garbage. Check out www.Schaefferoil.com Americas oldest oil company with some of the best lubricants in the world. They have a full synthetic 2 stroke racing oil. Also sold on amazon prime.
Castor is the only oil know 2-man kind that's attracted to hot spots.
Nope, synthetic esters are also attracted to hot metals.
yvonjasser not as good as castor
Its maid for hard as running its not the oil my recoment is klotz super tech. I seen alot of sleds blow up on amsoil intercraptor
Ams oil is junk 2stroke wise
raging bull Junk all around in my opinion.
thats because its castor oil which is super thick and slippery when it gets really hot, castor oil is better than synthetic for really hot engines. your engine is a big weed wacker so thin oil is better. you are comparing apples to hamburgers, they are way different. also castor oil is for premix only
Interceptor has a real low flashpoint that helps motors not gum up.
iddddaduncan exactly, Interceptor is around 180F whereas 927 is around 400F. Huge difference. If I’m running the shit out of them in sand and such it’s 927 every time. Trials like trail riding Interceptor is perfect.
But I just watched a DIY paramotor helmet video where the guy did BMX helmet, 3M muffs, and bluetooth com for under $100.
That is not really accurate. The Bluetooth alone will cost anywhere from a $ 100 to $300. Plus what about radio comms ? I like Bluetooth for music and phone calls in flight. I like 2 way hand held for pilot to pilot comms. (wouxun, baofeng).
Actually it is accurate. Bell skateboard helmet, 3M Peltor muffs, and then he used a cheaper brand of Bluetooth called the BT-S2 which is about $53, which handles music and phone connection to your phone and also handles pilot to pilot communication to 1000 meter separation. I'm not saying it is top of the line, but it works. Apparently it can sync to the Senna too.
ive been running castor 927 for many years now in a cr500 and have had no problems.... the reson why it gummed is because a 2 stroke needs some throughtle every now and then to keep the motor clean... thats why its a racing formula.... it saysit on the bottle... it was desighned to be run and run hard and be able to withstand the beatin of an engine running a contant 12k rpm and under a constant load... just letting you know its not a bad oil.... its actualy a realy good 2 stroke oil.... it just needs to be run a little harder than an idle.
yes, I agree with you on that. We run paramotor's more like a 4 stroke, 6,700 rpm max. The interceptor way thinner burns better and cleaner at lower Rpm's.
Great video and content. One suggestion would be to get a camera mount so you can use two hands if needed..Keep them coming..
how do you conect the radio and bluetooth together? like you hear and speak on the same system of the bluetooth?
OK, the radio connection and Bluetooth are two separate connection. So how this works is when you speak into the boom mic it allows your voice to be heard through the speakers .When you have both radio and Bluetooth connected one will jump on top of the other. example; if your listening to music on Bluetooth from your phone and someone talks to you on the radio the music will be muted down while they are talking.
Right Wing Paramotor Thanks man. this helps a lot. many of the questions I had you pretty much went though. You should have way more subscribers. thank you for taking the time to making this video and answering the questions. would be nice if you ever get a new helmet you record the instalation and set up of this system. once again thanks a lot
Thanks, no problem. More content to come working dudek flight suit review and a wing review.
