@@damnzambies I am talking about the rotating workstations and storage in all directions that you showed in the MeanOnes overhaul. I would love to see that one as it´s own stand alone mod without the rest of the mod pack. I hate that i can´t have my floor storage anymore.

@@RageyRage82 it's all customisable if you know how to Mod. But most mods won't have custom options. I would imagine that would take a lot of coding. Although It's probably pretty easy to change this value if you know where to look. 🧟‍♂️

@@damnzambies well, that would be the point of mods, since people don't know how to do that, or because it is inconvenient to do. Some mods do allow customization though. There was one in Alpha 21 that allowed you to customize almost anything in the game by it's values. I just haven't been able to find anything since that was quite like it.

I have a mod that allows this. Look my name up. You can adjust catrgory values and it’s noted and labeled in the xml for ease of use. Best, TheMeanOne

Oh! you reminded me of something I forgot to mention. The backpack slots are not unlocked. I unlocked them with armour mods so I could move around during testing. Some people may find the increased vehicle slots useful if they are struggling in the game. So it's a feature worth telling people about 😊 cheese or no cheese 🧀

@@damnzambies That helps a bit. Still makes bicycles way too useful though. You're supposed to be trying to get rid of those, not love them. If I remember correctly, it doubled bicycle storage and almost doubled minibike storage.

Yes! You are correct. It's more about the main game files updating when you are halfway through a playthrough. If the mods aren't compatible with the new update, the files could be corrupted and you will lose that game. But worst case scenario you can just uninstall the game and re-install without the mods, so it's more of a convenience thing. Personally I only make copies because I may need to go back and record footage from games, and it's nice to have them separate from updates. Hope that helps 🧟‍♂️

@@damnzambies I agree there is a certain thrill to suddenly facing a horde while clearing a POI but having to stop in the middle of you pre horde check to fight a horde is a bit much. It feels like they want you to waste all your ammo before the real horde comes. As it is I go through an entire gun safes worth of ammo every horde. Then again I also refuse to build 'cheese bases' so it's partly my fault i guess.

@mre4u422 Ultimately I feel The Fun Pimps are trying to slow the player down to extend play. Which I definitely don't mind. But I agree, the hordes can be a little annoying. Especially when in the middle of a base build before horde night. 🧟‍♂️

Some you do yes. Some no. POI mods need a new world generation. Where other mods may just work on a current playthrough. You can always try and see if it works. Worst case is the mod won't run until you start a new game. 🧟‍♂️

It can be a little confusing depending on what platform the mod creator uses. It's difficult to explain in text but first check the file you are downloading includes a .XML file. Then make sure you unzip/extract the folder before adding it to your game files. Also make sure there isn't a folder within a folder. You just want the one folder that contains the .XML file. Anything else in the folder with the .XML file also needs to stay in. Hope that helps a little. If that doesn't work I'll see if I can set up a share file. 🧟‍♂️

There are public servers 😉 and don't forget land claim blocks stop zombies spawning in your base if you are building in a POI. I still use them for my solo games. 🧟‍♂️

Land claim blocks prevent quests from happening at your base. Unless you want to accidentally delete your entire base I recommend using a land claim block
