Today, on June 07, 2023 at the Annual General Meeting of the Eckert & Ziegler Strahlen- und Medizintechnik AG, our founder Dr. Andreas Eckert stepped down from his position as CEO. Just as proposed by him, Dr. Harald Hasselmann was chosen as his successor. At this moment of change, Dr. Hasselmann wants to address all of you to talk about the past and future of Eckert & Ziegler.

I love the product but feel that pre elusion functions are slightly lacking

I am happy that I have an opportunity to work together with Dr. Notni's team on this project during my time at Technical University of Munich! This was a great journey! The teams of Prof. Kessler (TUM), Prof. Marinelli (Italy), Dr. Notni (TUM) created the model and used the computer prediction power to understand that the aminoacid sequence of the Ligand should look like a helix with x-RGDL-xx motion. Afterward, in the lab of Prof. Kessler, a large library of cyclic peptides was synthesized and investigated in vitro against avb6 Integrin and many others, which gave us a family of ligands with extremely high potential. Then, we joined efforts with Dr. Notni’s PET team and quipped one of the ligands as a proof-of-concept with TRAP-Ga fragment and went to animal studies Unfortunately, at that time, the pharmacokinetic was still not sufficiently enough But when another member of Ligand family was tested by Dr. Notni and Dr. Quigley this was successful and gave the tracer with huge application potential I am happy to see that my work does not lie on the shelf and will have opportunity to help people! I am excited to see next achievements of the program!
