Jaffen and Katherine were cute together. She enjoyed the feeling of being something more than just the commander of a starship,trying to get home. But it was all an illusion created by a planet that took the crew prisoner to work at their power plant. Bringing him aboard was a violation of the Prime directive. Starfleet would've never approved of the relationship. She had a few months of happiness after Mark's Dear John letter.

There were so very few times that Captain Janeway ever let someone ‘move’ her, in a personal way. Yet she always suspected that he wasn’t being honest with her and he was so smug in his masculinity, that he actually believed that he would succeed in totally fooling her. They sure looked good together. FYI: enjoyed this presentation, THANKS 👍👍‼️

It’s great to see the various videos that people put up. I think the relationship was fascinating and Kate Mulgrew did a brilliant job of putting across her many mixed emotions, her strong attraction, and her absolute commitment to the duty to protect her ship
