Mercane Wide Wheel Pro throttle upgrade
Original Wide Wheel Pro throttle has annoyingly instant acceleration making it nearly impossible to drive slowly or accelerate mildly. In this video, I experiment with a third-party throttle connected to the Wide Wheel Pro scooter.
UPDATE: I've played with the throttle a bit and it wouldn't go to full speed (it has lower voltage on the signal pin), so I'm removing the link to vendor.
UPDATE 2: This throttle does go full speed, but you'll have to resolder connector:

A good thing that i did to my widewheel is that i upgraded my speedometer gauge and the 2 second delay start Edit:Reply to me so i can send u some photos of it
Sveikas ar ilgai turi widewheel? Aš ilgai svarsčiau ir užsisakiau. Kaip amortizacija ir kiek realu nuvaziuoti vienu ikrovimu. Ar nebūsiu aš persunkus... 100kg
Laba. 100 kg manau ok, man didesnė kliūtis paties paspirtuko svoris - be lifto užsinešti namo gali būti nelengva. Amortizacija vidutiniška, max distancijos neišmatavau.
@@bildukas3070 O šiaip kaip paspirtukas rieda smagiai? Daug apžvalgų ziurejau,skaičiau tai vieni gire kiti peikia. Ar tikrai taip sunkiai vairuojasi paliginus su kitais? Aš dabar į darbą vazineju su xiaomi pro... Tai dantis issidauzyti galima... 10km i viena pusę ir tiek atgal. Ir kažin ar geriau jis apsaugotas nuo drėgmės...
@@tomasasmena5518 siūlau iškarto užsisakyti trečių šalių throttle nes originalus iš esmės yra on/off mygtukas. Amortizatoriai nepasirodė itin efektyvūs, gal kiek geriau nei xiaomi paprastoj versijoj, bet iš nepripučiamų padangų gal ir neverta per daug tikėtis. Be to erzina tai kad ratai blogai išbalansuoti - net važiuojant lygiu keliu juntama vibracija. Bendrai paėmus nesu juo pilnai patenkintas, dar galvosiu ar bandyt parduoti ar pasilikti.
Thank you for making this video - it gave me the confidence to attempt fitting an upgraded throttle myself. This one from Aliexpress worked well for me. a.aliexpress.com/_dTk1eSy It gives my Widewheel the same maximum speed as the original throttle but power comes on much more progressively, as in your video. The male connector is too big for the female socket so you have to splice the wires, otherwise it's an easy upgrade. I see Apollo's $60+ upgrade is presently out of stock anyway so this budget upgrade made even more sense to me.
Glad to hear that you were luckier than me :) On my second attempt, I've ordered alternative "vertical" throttle (link in description) and it does a much better job than the original one.
Do you still have that 2 second delay if you let go and accelerate again ?
Yes, the delay is still present (it is in the controller, not in the throttle).
what is the model in Aliexpress please? did it go faster if you push it harder? Thank you.
