July 15, 2018 Pitt-Race: I actually passed John Langworthy! On track! Haven't been able to do that since he got his awesome GSXR-750. In all fairness, he was getting tired, but still, I actually pulled off an on-track pass on my fast friend John on my 2006 Yamaha R6. Even had time to flip him the bird after completing the pass. ha! Good times!

One of my best and funnest sessions at NYST this summer. I was passed a few times, then battle back against guys on 1000cc bikes (mine's 600cc's) and re-pass most of the guys who passed me, and catch up to the next group ahead and pass them too! Was really, Really satisfying!

Despite the oil previously put down on the track and the cool weather, I still managed to put in what MIGHT BE (not sure, didn't time my laps earlier in the summer when it was warmer) my fastest lap of NYST. Either way, fastest or not, was still a good run. The concrete dust on the track made me think a little harder about lines and such, and I learned a few new lines that may have resulted in ...

Some jerk didn't check or maintain his kids go-kart and the kid took 4 laps of the track at lunchtime and dropped oil ALL OVER the track. Took just over 2 hours to get the track to the condition you see here. wft.
