I love the crazy stereotypes people have about states too, like New York is just NYC and not much else. I'm from South Dakota and a guy was like "What do you do in South Dakota? Ride buffalo??" Um, no. First of all, I live in the city. Second of all, not only is riding bison illegal, it's a one-way ticket to six feet under. Best case scenario, you'll take a trip to pound town and end up with stitches. Bison can't see very well and they will beat up anything that comes too close.
