First rule when I started to play rugby. The referee is right even when he is wrong! If you disagree keep your mouth shut and talk to your mates after the game, in the bar. Do not confront the referee at any time. It is a bloody difficult job to be a ref. He is human. Treat him with respect at all times. No referees, no game! Get on with it!

I feel really sorry for Wayne Barnes ... great ref , and a nice guy... but he is not gay ! Had he been , he might have been blessed with over the top praise and "cult status" ..he might even have benefitted from rugby fans signalling their moral superiority by lavishing him with "acceptance " at every opportunity!! Its getting fuckin boring now ! OK Owens is a good ref ..but you would think he was the second coming judge g by the rubbish on here! He is a good ref and he fucks men ,ok..but he is also an attention seeking diva who bores a lot of us !!
