I heard this one recently! A whole entire fb group was convinced that the reason Cloud hugs Tifa in Remake is because he is using her and does not really want to comfort her. It's wild! How in the world does such egregious character assassination help their ship? "Oh, Cloud is a complete and total douche and he uses people, that is why he should be with Aerith." It's ridiculous and insane. Cloud is not a player. He's not even smooth enough to pretend to have feelings for someone to manipulate them. He is pretty clear about his feelings for people. I personally dont beleave the clerith ship will never happen. The main reason is Zack. Cloud knows that Zack loves Aerith and he knows Aerith loves Zack. Bringing Zack back is a dead giveaway that they will meet again. If they wanted to do a clerith ending, then Zack should have never come back.. if they do, it will feel wrong in many ways.

Your media world differs from mine because I have not seen anybody talk about switching Tifa out of the lifestream sequence. Rebirth only SMASHED the point home that Cloud and Tifa and ONLY TIFA are really close knit in a way no other 2 characters are. Rebirth guaranteed the lifestream sequence is going to be between those 2. Maybe we'll see Aerith observing Cloud and Tifa lifestream sequence. I'm fine with that. It would make sense seeing as to how Aerith is in the lifestream and has strong feelings towards both Tifa and Cloud. On top of that Brianna White is spectacular as Aerith and she could get a little spot in the 3rd game. I was hoping Tifa Voice actress would be nominated, but maybebthey are waiting till part 3, this lifestream sequence to give her the acting award. Tifa is the true hero of FF7. Always was. The remake trilogy is really proving it too.

"Strong world isn't canon!" Has to be the funniest attempt at a gotcha from anti-shippers. They're so obviously dodging the actual argument Lunami fans make using this film. Whether or not Strong World is canon as a whole is irrelevant. The character dynamics are still as canon as possible because Oda himself wrote them. The main argument of Lunami fans using this film is that regardless of whatever weird headcanons the fandom may have about Luffy and Nami's relationship, Oda himself views their relationship as he wrote it in Strong World.

This is the nuanced answer that most people don't want to accept for some reason. An example you didn't mention is the Monsters one-shot. I don't think that episode is canon. Ryuma is canon, but the world and setting of that one-shot have nothing in common with One Piece. Which is only natural because it was made BEFORE One Piece was even serialized. Oda simply took the character and put him in the world of One Piece. But the fandom thinks that entire episode is canon. And they think the opposite for Strong World even though they are pretty much the same. The answer isn't black or white. They are both non-canon stories with canon elements.

Well, they certainly could be clearer about Tifa and Cloud being lovers outside of the games, that's for sure. Right now the products themselves are very clear, Cloud and Tifa being a couple is more explicit than, for instance, Bruce Willis being dead in the 6th sense. This is pretty straightforwardly simply the thing being told through visual storytelling, and essentially stated outright. But this insistence they have about not making any proclamations about what is and is not canon outside of what is being shown on screen is so tiresome. It does no one any good and simply emboldens people into making claims about the story that are not supported by the games at all, but get this faux air of legitimacy by the fact that SE has decided not do a unilateral "whatever you take from the story is valid", while also saying stuff like "oh, people have interpreted these characters incorrectly, I hope we can fix that".

After the blood wedding Lui took downed Fubuki and escaped because Fubuki will definitely be turned to thr police and Lui have feelings with Fubuki and doesn't want that to happen. Remember at the beginning they said Lui can't make it but suddenly appeared to rescue Fubuki. Fubuki was dropped of to the hospital and healed by Luna but along the hallway Police Suisei was already on the chase and caught Fubuki almost escaping through the elevator. That was the moment where Fuwamoco asked if they csn take over the hospital while the director is gone and Fubuki said no. Fubuki was sent to prison and her hospital staff went with 2 helicopters to rescue her.

Yeah, i can relate as a fellow artist. With all this Ai generated crap its been real hard to get commissions . Art for me is a great hobby that i did for fun and i got to make some very decent money for my country on the side. I'll say this, I spoke to a lot of people who enjoy different things. So I might have some insight as to why some people are into it. Some people are a lot more masochistic, they take pleasure out of their own suffering. Some people enjoy it as it stimulates them to be more competitive. There's also people who simply enjoy it due to knowing it's not real, like you're seeing a bad story play out, but you're not involved in the story itself. You're like a being that's just seeing it all play out. There's people who feel angry at seeing those things happen to others and that's what arouses them in an odd way. Sometimes it's a mix of all of those. The human mind is very interesting in the way that contradictions can make stuff work. People feeling motivated or pleasured by things that are meant to be bad or simply by knowing that it's not real. The latter being much like how people enjoy horror movies, though unlike being in a situation where you are under "controlled danger" it's like witnessing a "controlled tragedy".

I like this shipping I don't know why but they have a bit of similarity like they saw their love ones get killed in front of their eyes, but nami was able to forgive jimbei for not stopping arlong and what happen to her village and stuff however Luffy will never forgive akainu for killing ace it traumatized him a lot that he gets nightmares about it all the time . I wish there was a scene that nami talk and comfort Luffy about Ace's death and he can be at peace and happy.
