Jane Elliott bears a command and understanding of the racial dynamic extant in the United States the like of which today many if not most white people's grasps prove sophomoric. Indeed, one would have to be white in the first place not to see, to feel this. That is, this same number tend to define racism today as it was defined and presumed to express in the 1960's. Theirs is a child-like grasp of understanding, displaying like so many boys and girls, now so many adults, alas. What exhibits today in the USA in terms of racism proves far more deep-set, far more advanced. Aside from what Mrs. Elliott says ... that white people need educating, ... also, a considerable measure of awakening and countenancing three-dimensional experience proves necessary or ... beholding an import from divine intercession. That there still exists tremendous denial deep to the collective mindset of [American] white people proves simply phenomenal, compliments of their having enjoyed a legacy of privilege, of license. That they don't know they don't know has a great deal to do with intention ... ay with not wanting to know more than any other reason --- mirabile dictu, this indicates arrogance, stark willfulness. That black people have unceasingly proved the sacrificial lambs is saddening if at once true; this, for the past 500 years; and for sure, the past 250 years of this grand collection we now know and refer to as the United States of America.

I had never heard of Jane Elliott until today. I've seen a few talks she's done on youtube (including this one). Now that I'm slightly more familiar, she has a certain... Je ne sais quoi that really reminds me of Jacques Fresco. I think it's her approach of "Unlearn the bullshit you've been taught by people who dream thrmselves your master". Elliott for the subject of racism. Fresco on the idea of re-imagining our view on society and economics. To quote Edward James Olmos. There is only one race. The Human Race. So say we all. Spoken at the UN.

A Comment from a Black Person: Jane Elliott's contradictions in many of her TH-cam interviews: First she says we are all of one human race. Really??? But in other TH-cam videos she wants her white people to be called: the melananemic people (melananemic race), or she refers to her white race as the brown people, or she refers to her white race as the pale skin people, and she refers to her white people as the so-called white people., HA-HA-HA! Jane Elliot has stated these race titles for white people ( her white race) in many of her youtube videos with Ronald S. Martin and other videos. Jane Elliot is constantly full of contradictions in her own words, and hypocrisy at its best. HA-HA-HA! If you think I am making this up, really listen to he words in her interviews and read between the lines, she has a hidden subtle agenda., like all white people.

I just came across this wonderful lady here and have watched a number of her exercises, from her first exercises in her 3rd grade class room, the Oprah Winfrey show to the exercises dine in Britain. The Britain exercise didn't go as planned because then refuse to accept the truth that there is racism in the country a month black people and why people. I believe they are living in denial. You being discriminated against over your hair or clothes is different from being discriminated against for the color of your skin. Ppl have been programmed to thing that white ppl or lighter skin people are better and should be given more privileges. Perfect example is the Willie Lynch letter "the making of a slave". Even black people who are lighter skinned, some of them feel they are better then the same black people who are darker skinned than them and i know this because I'm from the caribbean and its evident. This is how Willie Lynch controlled his slaves. An when those same light skinned blacks go to a white country they feel sameway how the darker skinned blacks feel. So racism is very much alive in society today but people wanna be ignorant and ast as if its not or they aren't, well get them angry and see what they tell you as a black person, then try telling me and them after that they aren't racist. Jane Elliott i love your work over the 4 decades and I'll be sharing this with everyone i know.
