Hi, I'm Daniel and welcome to my channel, which is about making things out of garbage. I prefer to reuse everything that is discarded in dumpsters or that is destined for the landfill or even a fire, thus making this channel sustainable and contributing with the environment. Well, my videos are not tutorials, but they have the objective of demonstrating how I do my projects with the discards. somehow can entertain or help everyone to see that there is use in everything we discard, from a piece of wood to a scrap that is simply taking up space.
Making a Wooden Door with 2x4 /DIY DOOR WITH 2X4
Hello everyone in this video I am making a beautiful door for my workshop using 2x4 pine wood, always looking for more economical alternatives, after all this is the purpose of this channel to demonstrate that it is possible to do something good with low costs. In the joining of the ends glue and the dowel system were used to provide a clean face and no marks on the wood. And to produce this video I had the special help of my son and that was amazing, as well as the measurements are 81"x 43 x 1"1/2. I want to thank everyone for watching and supporting with comments and if you've made it this far help the channel grow-if your support is very important. Song dedicated to my son, Title, YOU ARE MY RAYINBON (UNICON HEADS).

How to make Dust Collector by recycling paint buckets
มุมมอง 712ปีที่แล้ว
Hello in this project I made a dust collector recycled buckets of paint and some leftover wood for the base. Note: In so that the collector does not suffer any damage with the vacuum I left a joining edge between the buckets of approximately (2''inch) through each other reinforcing the walls, drilling the screws to the center of the measurement of (1''inch). # * Material used: plywood of (3/4 1...

How i restored old windows
มุมมอง 822 ปีที่แล้ว
Hello friends, in this project I used old windows that I got from a friend. Well these windows are dated approximately 1950, according to information from their former owner, who after remodeling his parents' old house, donated these relics to me . I'm very happy because they will give an elegant tone to my shop. In the restoration I used to rebuild the frame pallets and screws and glue and of ...

I'm glad you liked it, your opinion is important and always welcome, thanks for watching.
Love it❤
Very Nice restoration, I have one 1953 that I got one piece at a time through Ebay from the USA to the UK
Very good....
Thanks
That's awesome and it doesn't look like it will break the bank to get either. I'm new to woodworking and I'm looking for things that are functional but not too expensive to get everything going. I also plan to be on TH-cam as well as other platforms eventually. Thanks for the hack, I love it and will definitely incorporate it into my shop when I get one. Keep up the great work!!! Happy building and stay safe!!!💯😁
Hello friend, thanks for watching and leaving your comment, I'm glad you liked it, but you will definitely find different opinions about this project and for me it really is very functional. I hope very soon to appreciate some of your projects here or on another platform, you've already started, that's the most important thing, good luck.

needs more bolts!
Really like that door! I could see that door used as an interior door in a house as well. That your son was helping you is just that much more special of a project!
Hello @steve, thank you for watching the video and commenting, your participation is very important, it's really cool that you read the description, this door can easily be used in any environment and at a low cost, as solid wood doors are expensive. And yes, this project turned out to be very special, thank you for participating.
Would it be more cost efficient to purchase a plastic or cardboard drum?
The idea is to reuse scrap, my projects in general are reuse, without worrying about ease or logic, the important thing is to use scrap, thank you for watching and commenting.
These edits are ridiculous😂
Thank you for watching, I'm glad you liked it!!!
hello, I would like to ask about the dust collector produced in China, the motor is 220V, how can it be used in the United States, do I need to connect another line.
Hello friend, thanks for watching the video and commenting, well I'm not sure I'm answering your question correctly, but if you have a 220 vacuum cleaner you should use a reducer or transform that current to 110 volts below I'll leave a link as an example there then you can choose one suitable for your need.(---// ). Yinleader Voltage Converter Transformer(220V to 110V, 110V to 220V) Step Up/Down Transformer Converter 110/120 Volt - 220/240 Volt - Circuit Breaker Protection (VTUS-3000-6S) a.co/d/aPwehYP
Loved it well done my friend
Thank you friend for watching the video and commenting, I'm happy to know that you liked it.
Love the actual dust collector you add at the end. I'll just get that LoL
The cyclone he made helps extend the capacity and filter life of the shopvac.
@lukeatencio834 Hello friend, thank you for being here. Regarding your question, yes, it holds practically 90% of the dust, except for extremely fine dust that can still be sucked into the filter, but this is almost irrelevant, and is possibly caused by the cyclone reservoir being full, so I can say that it works very well and does increase the useful life of the filter and vacuum .
Why my dust going lots into shop vac than fall into the collector? Cement fibre dust.
Hello friend, well I'm not an expert on the subject, but I believe that the fact that the dust particles are light and very fine and also imagining that your external collector is smaller than the vacuum cleaner's container possibly helps for the finer dust to settle scroll down, hope this helped, thanks for watching the video and commenting.
Very nice restoration project. I have the 28-110 that my father purchased in 1953 while working as a carpenter. Now that I’m retired I will be restoring it thanks to your inspiration. Keep up the good work! New subscriber.
Hello friend, sorry for the delay in replying, Well I am really happy that you liked the project, I hope to see your brand new item soon, you will give life to the story and continue the use of a very special tool I believe, when you are ready send the photos to post here in the channel community, thank you for watching the video and for having commented.Thank you !!!
I live your results. I have the same saw I’m planning to restore. Did you replace the bearings on yours? If so, where did you find them? Same question on rubber tires - appreciate any feedback you can provide. Great job - thanks for sharing!
Hello dear friend, I am happy to have watched the video, and very excited to respond to you. As for the bearings, I didn't have to change them because they were in good condition. some time later I found them on eBay, the saws are also available on eBay, as soon as possible I will send you the link from who I bought them, thanks for watching the video and commenting.
Your work is very inspiring. I have limited finances so I try to recycle and repurpose tools & materials… glad to know I’m not the only one!! Thank you again for sharing - really appreciate your efforts!
You don't have to thank me, I'm the one who thanks you for watching my video and commenting. Well, my situation is not very different from yours, I don't receive anything from TH-cam, I mean, I don't make a living from it, so I can make videos without having to spend a lot With material, I reuse everything I can, any and all types of scrap metal, but mostly wood, this was the way I found to not affect my low budget, but I think it's cool to use scrap metal, it helps in the environment and brings benefits to our pockets, LOL ,and the environment. Your comment is very important, thank you very much.
I would've love to see closer the connection at the top. What did you use? The cone you installed at the top, what is it? a DIY? Anyway, I am missing that part of what you did at the top. Looks great though
Hi, I'm glad you enjoyed watching and thanks for commenting on this video. Well, I suggest you watch the full video where you can follow all the details of the construction, I'll leave the link to the full video below for you to watch. Thank you for your participation and enjoy. How to make Dust Collector by recycling paint buckets th-cam.com/video/7gzUKJqBkGw/w-d-xo.html
You didn’t need but 1-2.5 gallons of bucket for that baby cyclone that cyclone is made for a household vacuum like 10-35 cfm if your going to put that much time and energy into it get a full size cyclone hell at least one made for a shop vac like your using there about 2x-3x bigger
i find it amusing watching people do things the hard way
"recycled"
How did it perform?
Hello Dan, thanks for watching the video and participating here on the channel with your question, as well as your question, really very satisfactory, there is no deformity or retraction of the container with the vacuum, it has a very efficient and silent aspiration, for me more than expected.
I have the same cyclone system (with only 1 bucket) and mine has a high pitch squeal when in use. Any thoughts on why??
Hi Daniele, thanks for watching the video and sharing your question, well first I think you should look at the bucket sealing system, I used paint buckets because they have thicker walls and I believe they are more resistant, this helps with sounds and noise issued. Well that's my opinion I think if you enlarged the compartment like two buckets it would help a lot with the noise and you would have more cargo space, then tell me what you did and if it worked I'll be happy to know.
very talented the guy !... the color of the dressing matches that of the wheels
Hello Alleen, Thank you for watching the video and commenting, Lol, very well observed😂😂, I hope to have your comment in the next videos and your subscription is an incentive to continue.
More complicated than it needs to be.
Thank you for watching the video and commenting, your opinion is very welcome on this channel, join us and subscribe to the channel and always keep leaving your comments about what you think about the projects.
@@DanWoodProjects I made a dust collector from simple and inexpensive items from Home Depot. It's half the height of yours and seems to catch most of the debris. Plus there are almost no screws, nuts or bolts and can be emptied in a minute. I go the idea from TH-cam.
Okay,
Nice!! I made one like it and added water but it was only a single bucket no wheels!! Gonna try this one! Thanks for sharing 👍🏽👍🏽
Hello Nate, thanks for watching the video and commenting, your participation here on the channel is very important, I am very happy and excited, because it looks like you are going to replicate the project and that is very good, when you do, send photos that we will post in the community tab or even at the end of a video, I would also like to invite you to subscribe to the channel like many who are supporting and making this community great, thank you all.
I will once I get it done….😆 I saw it on another channel but this one seems to be more commercial type…👌🏽and Happy New Year 🎊
Hello friend Nate, Happy year to you too, I would be happy to count on your participation and subscription to the channel. Your support is very important for growth and development and your opinion will always be welcome in projects here on the channel.
Wouldn’t a 50 gallon drum with a plexiglass cutout be faster to make and hold more waste?
Hello friend, thanks for watching the video and commenting, well answering your question it could be much easier if I had a large 50 gallon drum, however the negative point is that it would take up a lot of space in the workshop and the idea of the video is to encourage the use of what you have your disposal but thank you for your idea is valid.
You already have a industrial vaacum, why do you need anadaone
Hello Robert, thank you for watching the video and commenting, yes only the vacuum cleaner would do it but the question would have cost with a filter maybe one more bag and not to mention that it would be a lot of work to clean the container and filter and also later on the vacuum cleaner will be fixed and I will only move the container.
Wheels look new...
Hello friend, thanks for watching the video and commenting, the wheels are leftovers from a project I bought and I didn't use them but we can say they are new, thanks for being here.
Any effort in this regard will keep the vacuum filter clean er much much longer. I will add, don't wait until it is really full to empty. Excellent idea. I had a paper barrel with a ring clamp and this set up. If you do any amount of wood working this will save you time and hassle.
Hello Larry thanks for watching the video and leaving your comment, yes you are right, we save time and money, a compartment with a good reserve is feasible and you can dedicate your time to the project without stopping to clean your vacuum after each use, thanks for participating this channel counts on your support.
You shoulda put some handles on that thing.
Hello Samuel , Thank you for watching the video and commenting, maybe this will be useful, I appreciate your idea Happy Christmas Day .
One of the best functioning collectors I've seen. Great job!
Hello Alphaditto, thanks for watching the video and commenting, good to know that you liked the project, I hope I can count on your presence here on the channel in the next videos, have a beautiful Christmas day with the family.
I love the idea of that extra thumb protector.
Hi Daniel, thanks for watching the video and commenting, we always have to make a difference even if it's a thumb, Lol hope you have a Merry Christmas.
Why in the world wouldn’t you just use the shop vac seems like a incredible waste of time and materials
This keeps the larger pieces from going to the shop vac and clogging up the filter. If you're familiar with a Dyson vacuum, it's like that. All of the debris goes into a container that's easy to empty and the filter stays cleaner.
Thanks for watching and commenting, I've never seen it from this angle, but yes, you're right.
That's actually a giant vacuum cleaner , Dust collection systems have a canvas bag that filtrates the air at a high rate , And they pick up the fine dust, Vacuum cleaners just get clogged, With that same dust ,
Hello Talbot, thanks for watching the video and commenting, your presence here on the channel is welcome.
Thanks Dan hope you have a great Christmas and a New Year full of happiness
Merry Christmas Talbot, to you and your family that in the new year we can carry out all our projects, thank you.
Great job! I've had a mini ClearVue cyclone mounted on top of a single 5-gallon bucket for 15 years now and love it. Guess you might just like yours 3x as much. Heh. It looks like the lid on my bucket is much more difficult to get off than the lid you have. Anyway, you've earned a like and subscribe. Again, great job!
Hello Corwin I am very happy that you liked the project, Thanks for watching the video and leaving your comment, I am really happy to have your presence and support for the channel it is very important and encouraging to have your subscription and many others who are subscribing -if this is the demonstration of recognition of a work, thank you very much.
The plastic buckets will eventually collapse with any decent level of vacuum. Speaking from experience.
Hello Philip, thanks for watching and commenting. Well you are right to comment that plastic buckets collapse because their walls are thin with a fragile structure. This is the main point as you saw in the video, in the union of the buckets I fitted them pressure and heat, forming a belt of approximately 2 inches between the buckets. This increases resistance and I increased the volume of the compartment to reduce collapse and to finish the window with 2 acrylic sheets and a plastic frame. the last bucket because the vacuum is concentrated at the top with the help of gravity the dust falls to the bottom.
Cool idea, but it seems like a lot of effort just to be lazy in the end
Hi Jasoon, thank you for commenting and watching the video, I agree with your opinion, however each tool is designed to be used according to individual needs, I think we should always make things easier. Thanks again and I invite you to subscribe to the channel .
Instead of buying all that stuff, you can go to Home Depot and buy a bucket and their kit to make this. Ready to use in 5 minutes.
Hello friend, on this channel we save money, if you go to Home Depot you will spend more than planned, nails, buckets, wood, I prefer to take advantage of the dumpster, Lol, thanks for watching the video and commenting.
Top shelf mate
Thanks Gregory, for commenting and watching the video.
😎😎😎😎😎
To bad I can't save this to steal your setup. It looks awesome and cool. It should keep maximum suction from the shop vacuum.
Hello Donald ,thank you for commenting and for watching the video. Im so glad you liked it i hope you keep watching the followimg vidoes .
@@DanWoodProjects Thank you for not being scared to respond to my 1st message. Now, Me being silly like I am, I would make the board holding your container big enough to put the shop vac on as well. But where did you get the contraption for the top of the 5 gallon paint containers?
I know it's a very simple project, but I'm very happy that this video has reached many people, because in this way I had the pleasure of receiving many messages exchanged, as we are doing now, this is very important to me.But answering your question, I bought it on Amazon I'll leave the link here for you. Dust Deputy DIY Anti-Static Retrofit Cyclone Separator for Wet/Dry Shop Vacuums (DD DIY) a.co/d/0nJfBIT
I believe that’s just a vacuum before the vacuum
Needs 12 more buckets.
What about an access hatch at the bottom to allow the dust to be removed??
Hi Derek, Thank you for registering your question and watching the video, in fact I even thought about this hypothesis but I found it unfeasible thinking about the decrease in the vacuum and the weakening of the wall of the collectors, but your idea is very valid, I would like to invite you to subscribe to the channel to follow the next projects and thank you very much for supporting the channel.
Damn I'm kind of disappointed I thought it was going to be a robot.
hello friend thanks for commenting and watching the video, well sorry for you being disappointed, really my container looks like a robot, Lol yes really I remembered the Robot from the Lost in space series, from the 70's, I think I'll adopt this name for my collector this was so much fun. Thanks.
Where did you get the adapter on top with hose connectors and tank fit?
Amazon, Ebay and other stores. Shop around for the best price. They all work pretty well. Spending a lot doesn't mean they work a whole lot better. I bought a cheap one, it works great.
Hello Coach Wilson, sorry for taking so long to answer your question, thank you for your participation, and for watching the video. As for your question, I bought it on Amazon, but you can find it on ebay, on the Woodcraft website, I bought this brand but there are many others, maybe even with better prices. Thanks for being here, I'll leave the link for you. Dust Deputy DIY Anti-Static Retrofit Cyclone Separator for Wet/Dry Shop Vacuums (DD DIY) a.co/d/f1Q1xbj
That’s what I was wondering
@@ruthbielke9886, I've even reto fitted pvc pieces from Home Depot or Lowes. You can even heat them to do stretch/force fit. Seems like they have many sizes that aren't interchangeable. I've made a lot of my own without to much expense. Best of luck to you and work safe !!
Why so tall?
Hello friend welcome to the channel and thank you for asking and watching my content, well the reason for being tall is to get a good compartment to store the dust and also avoid deformity with the vacuum, I increased the resistance between the buckets with the fit by bending the walls and reinforcing them. Due to continuous use I really needed a larger container so I wouldn't be emptied after each use. Thanks for watching.
Note to you it would be good if you watched the video before posting to see the words overlap.
Hello Laurie, thank you very much for watching the video and commenting, I will try to improve this for the next videos, but you can watch the full video that is available on the channel, thank you for being here.
