Natives around the border of Canada and US believe that God is a turtle and the earth is on it's back. Natives around the US and Mexico border have totally different beliefs, as do the tribes around each respective coast line and the tribes of Alaska and Hawaii. Their beliefs were somewhat regional and they all varied by region or by tribe. Also, I forgot to mention the plains Indians, they also had different beliefs.

I don’t understand the difference between Christianity and Catholicism Do Catholics believe you can pray to people other than god? And believe that the pope is the chosen one by god or somthing? That’s what I’ve heard
Catholics believe that those who die in friendship with God can become Saints (someone in heaven) and that they are more alive than those on Earth because they are in union with God, the giver of life, himself. Therefore Catholics believe that those in heaven can pray to God for those on Earth. The Pope's aren't necessarily chosen by God in an active sense, some might be, but more of a passive "I'll allow it" sort of way. So God can allow bad Pope's in order to teach the Church a lesson or so that the Church as a whole will learn from the experience. In the same way of Judah's Kings and High Priests.
