Yes I think it will perfectly fit somewhere in the middle when gearing for heroic raids! Obviously delves, m+ and raid rewards will never be the same for multiple reasons, but I guess m+ problem is that it can be repeated as many times as you want. Perhaps they should rethink m+ rewards :D

I believe it's because Delves are part of the "world" content, they want you to engage in all solo content, not just mindlessly spam Delves. But also - Delves vendor sells the key for the undercoin once you've progressed in the season! so for alts it won't be a big issue I hope! I will make a note to talk about it in one of my other videos

I have some videos of me doing solo Delves as ranged and I can't say I struggled on tier 8. In few places you might need to learn the first time, but nothing too difficult

They should give us solo m+ at this point. Or delves that give us max ilvl gear + a leaderboard and titles/ mounts for top .1%. Im so tired of incompetent pugs. Im 3.6k ret atm by pugging only and im SO done. Like its so insane how bad people are even with this rating.

Well, they attempted it before, think torghast but that didn't go well... so you could say they are trying :) this time its looking promising! so we'll see where it ends up

mmm, I have completed them solo as a dps (frost mage) and as a healer (disc priest) and I can assure you it's very doable. Some learning curve at the start (which is good, not boring) but very doable! And if you really struggle you can come back after some gear upgrade :)

@@Anywhere72 No tank required. I've completed Tier 11 delves solo as a healer. It takes work, you have to use all your utility, but it's doable.

Hate is a strong word 😅 how about this - if Blizzard nerfs the rewards after watching MY video I will make another one complaining about rewards not being good enough? :)

the highest reward is BOP, but there are also BOA items as well yes. can drop from chest or you can purchase them from vendors for the undercoin (drops in every Delve)

I think they will be fun! But bare in mind it's a new feature, so might take a while to perfect it to the same level m+ or raids are. My gut feeling is that I'm going to have plenty of fun the first few months in Delves, finish all the achievements, collect things and then move on to m+ again :)

They look like fun. Already in the game is follower mode where you can go into dungeons solo or a couple of others and the other spots filled with npcs. I have really been enjoying my recent return. It's a bit overwhelming with all the things to do, but it's been fun.

Haha! I really hope Blizzard doesn't decide something as big as that after watching a bunch of YT videos :) Actually if you listen to what people psot on YT sometimes... I think they take it with a grain of salt

Yes I think it makes sense! I would still like it to be an option in the Great Vault and save the catalyst charge! :)

I think delves should run parallel to m+ gear. Then solo players can compete in raids and m+ players can do what they love for the experience rather than the optimum gear track.

It is probably dependant on class & spec, but after I leveled my mage on beta and did some WQs tier 4-6 were chill. Of course anything can change anytime! In terms of fragments - you need 100, but some WQs/weekly gives around 20-40, so it's not that big of a grind! I think it's going to be easy first 2-4 keys per week with a weekly quest

It'll be more like several epics per week given how long it takes to obtain keys. It won't replace raiding or M+ for players serious about obtaining gear, but is a fantastic option for players who want something more challenging than heroic dungeons and lower M+ keys, and don't want to do party-required activities like M+ and raiding.

Aye, good point - hopefully I can capture more data for the next video! But basically when I levelled up on beta and did some world questing, etc I had 4 or 5 keys. So they are NOT HARD to get, but Blizzard did state there is going to be a "weekly cap" so people don't overdo it. And of course every bountiful delve has a chance at the map, so that's another extra source if you are lucky

I can't say I enjoyed torghast, but I do enjoy Delves! I would compare them more to a mini dungeon that you do with a companion (Brann) - some trash, cool boss, different vibes in each Delve! I am hyped for sure! Disc priest is a good choice imo from what I tested so far! Unfortunately I haven't tried voidweaver as it was broken for me, but it does sound cool imo :)

I´ve done some delves and i may say they are really fun for me, much more than torhast ever was. And at least you get some loot after you finished, which wasn´t the case in torghast. But what i can say, even at Lv. 80 with 600 iLv., there a very much diffences depend on the class you play. Always took Bran als heal and tryed with Warlock, Retri Pala and Evoker (Damage). Warlock was good but with some issues cause the pet doesn´t always hold the aggro. Evoker was a pain and Pala was just a joke how fast and easy the same delves at the same difficulty was done.

Nope! They are much better :) and also optional so we won't feel forced and can just do it when feel like it!

Nice! how was the trash tho? I feel like bosses are easier in Delves than the trash

@@deiSeto Trash is okay. I CC the ranged/hardest mob, kite the other mobs over Brann's traps, and generally heal myself through face-tanking a mob or two and it's fine. In most cases, as long as I stay healing myself, Brann can clear the trash for me. Also, the more you play, the stronger Brann gets, and his skills also level up.

Yes defo Brann will get stronk. I actually think healers gonna have fun in the Delves

Yes there is something along those lines, but I did not figure that out yet :D also that dino just appears atm I didn't really use any CCs :D but yeh on live it might be the key! I was actually surprised how much dmg Brann did, just need to fix details to show his dmg!

I believe your MCed mob was applying a slow to the boss? That should have summoned the egg.

oh, but the slow is not supposed to count as CC, although it's beta so anything is possible

Yes exactly! Blizzard are attempting to create a viable solo content, and the best thing you can just keep doing the same delve until you feel done. Rewards are not bad! Highest is normal raid track from drops and vault can give you heroic I believe! I will make a video soon on rewards.

that would be Champion track (normal raid level gear) which is pretty decent for a solo content that takes around 15 minutes! and the vault can give Hero track, so yeh it's not high-end mythic gear, but for tmog and casual purposes it's very good

Yeah I'm sorta excited to try as disc priest but not looking forward to the higher delves. I'm hoping it's a lot of fun as tank since you can just pull the whole area theoretically

that is an interesting question... I might have to try doing Delves as a healer... and I haven't played a healer since WOTLK...

@@deiSeto Given Brann's talent changes when you swap him to DPS from healing, along with obviously not having even half the damage of a DPS, the runs feel a lot more tactical when playing as a healer. However, they are doable - even clearing every single mob, which is great. Blizz announced they're looking at Delve difficulty and I'm mostly fine with Tier 11s not being doable by every single spec solo (the content is for 1-5 players), but they already said the secret Tier 12 "Mage Tower" boss will probably not be doable by everyone.

I am a bit worried that "tactical" can quickly become boring. But yes tailoring Delves for dps makes sense for solo, it's not like you have a whole ton of players to heal, its just brann :D

My friend had the same issue, but I've unlocked higher ones a fews weeks ago and can still do them. so it must be something they broke last week in the build. Try doing tomorrow after new beta build or reporting a bug

Oh interesting! I was kinda relying on my own strength, cos you never know how well the devs will tune him. What traps do you mean? I feel like I am missing crucial parts of the Delves!

Brann is healer, but looks like I was running without curious :D the gear is scaled to 610 at tier 11 Delves so not much to show, however I do have tier set! and I can show my talents next time for sure!

@@deiSeto There is warband gear that can drop, as well as Delve-specific currency for the xmogs.

@@deiSeto The treasure chests at the end drop the crests for upgrading gear. Delves cap at heroic raid gear from the weekly vault.

I mean, took me a few tries and I still haven't completed all delves. Well it's beta so its ok. And I'm happy they cater for 40year olds - time flies :D

Yeah... now that I think about it maybe the title should be "tier 11 delves are challenging and it's a GOOD thing" ?

@@deiSetoI thought the tiers above 8 were supposed to be like challenge modes, since they don’t offer any higher gear. The 13th delve was explicitly supposed to be hard for the best players, so I imagine 11 was going to also be hard.

13th delve I imagine is going to be on a whole other level! but yeh, it's expected these to be challenging :)

Well, sort of, just being a casual player doesn't mean I don't want a challenge. It's very clear this content is aimed for people with less time and desire (or just like to play solo) to push m+ yet want a fun and challenging dungeon like experience in WoW.
