What an amazing mix of classes and liveries, fabulous, thanks for taking the care to capture all these views, and for sharing them with us!
Erm..... the people getting changed on the beach?
Awesome video!! So much variety of railtours there! One of the benefits of living in Devon I think! Nice also to see the test train HST so often and its reversal in Dawlish Warren! Cool catch of the Western as well gutted I missed that! Cool to see the light HNRail 37 as well
1:10 Blue Pullman meeting an American yellow school bus... What are the chances?
Great video 👍🏻
I’d love to see the DART underground being extended to the Irish Ferries & Stena Terminals at Dublin Port, as well as to Dublin Airport - I’d also love to see the DART being extended to Navan as well - the EU’s climate change ban on short haul flights between Ireland, the U.K. and Europe could be a good thing as well, if it meant the high speed rail tunnel under the Irish Sea between Holyhead and Dublin finally getting built - I am very supportive of the Irish government’s very ambitious rail investment and expansion plans, as when completed it will be a huge coup for Ireland and will kickstart Ireland’s tourism industry, as living in the U.K. 23 years, I have extended family in Rural Ireland
The Irish Rail network is generally rural and single track (except Cork line and ex GNR) so Dublin Connolly is Ireland's busiest location
❤🎉 I love tram
Brilliant video!! Some excellent shots you got there at Dawlish outside the station and coming across the bridge too!! Nice mix you saw there good to see some castle sets and a shame to see the XC MK3s going as well!
Awesome Selection 🙌🏻✨
Great Shots mate 👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it,thanks for watching
Enjoyed watching, especially the bit where you captured goods/freight train being passed by a passenger train. Completed 1816 rather than stated 1807, cheers thanks for making this
Much enjoyed this vid. Cheers from Australia.
Thank you for this splendid video. Most enjoyable.
So pleased you enjoyed it. I hope to go to Ireland in the next few months to film an Irish railway updated 2024 video.
Nothing beats the sound of those 071 diesels
Simply because the traffic volumes do not justify it. Nothing to do with any government policy or the economy. We've hardly any rail freight, for example.
😲 Wow.... those electric units sound awesome !!
That's what i call trainspotting. What a selection.. brilliant. Thank you.
A very enjoyable video.
Many thanks!
The Hitachi trains have finally ruined the experience of travelling along this scenic route.
How?
@@ruairievans Just compare the Hitachi trains with BR Mark 1 stock running on B4 bogies. Large picture windows with a low sill. A good and unobstructed view out of the train from every seat The windows can be opened Comfortable seats with proper cushions Spacious interior with good legroom Smooth and steady ride Pleasant ambience with timber panels and warm lighting, not over-bright Individual reading lamps You can easily check this for yourself as there is plenty of mark 1 stock running on preserved railways. There is no comparison.
its unbelievable having spent millions on the fantastic upgrade to the sea wall that network rail could not give the old bridge a lick of paint .
I know they are repainting the station next year, so hopefully the bridge will get done too
There'll always be people who'll complain about something, eh?
@@bombadiliannot to mention his incorrect use of grammar.
The viaduct was shot blasted and repainted a few years ago with a paint which was surprised to protect it from rust forupto
I will attempt to Finnish my statement above:- The last paint job was supposed to last 25 years but the elements have proved to have won that battle. A replacement is on the cards but the state the network rail funds are in sees that job put back and there appears to be no chance of anything being done in the foreseeable future.
Nice catch, I caught it at Micheldever & Overton
Lovely:)
An improvement on the tube trains that ran previously.
Beautiful and interesting video 👍🏻
what is their maximum speed
Many hours spent there as a teen spotter in the late 80s
Excellent video there!! Nice amount of different variety there. Lots of railtours which is good to see! Shame at the end there the 43170 drag! Good to chat at Dawlish Warren as well
Thanks for your kind remarks. It was good to see you at the Warren and I like your your enthusiasm for the hobby. Keep up the good work.
@@keithewins992 Cheers
Thanks for sharing this great video 👍🏻
I remember this day like no tomorrow because I was one of the three people on Annie
I don't think that I will wach a nicer video for the rest of this year. Very nice. Thank you.
The tune of the start is sad
Joseph and today 😀
This must have happened in the year 2019. When both class were delivered to the defunct train 🚊 operator called LM - London Midland, there were the 2 x 1 single car class 139s are 139001 and 139002 worn the LM - London Midland livery. Now it’s called WMR - West Midlands Railway 🚃. Made in the year 2007 or 2008. Toilets 🚽 🚻 aren’t allowed to happen because it’s a short train 🚊 journey runs from Stourbridge town to Stourbridge Junction everyday and public holidays except Christmas 🎄🧑🎄 🎅 🤶 Day and Boxing 🥊 Day. Railway 🚃 passengers that use the class 139001/002 train 🚆 probably recognise the train 🚊 drivers face because it’s probably a small community is a short distance local train 🚊 service. It is DMS - Driving Motor Standard. There are 24 seats 💺💺💺💺 and 4 tip up ⬆️ seats 💺💺💺💺. No smoking 🚭 carriage. The train 🚆 looks like a single decker bus 🚌. It’s a standard class accommodation and railway 🚃 passengers can sit anywhere they like 👍. There could be female 👩🦰 👱♀️ 👩🦳 train 🚊 drivers could drive the class 139001/002. 👍👍👍👍👍
Beautiful video 👍🏻
That train I have not seen for years

Excellent footage Keith.

Was the very first train a nuclear flask train?
No. It’s track cleaning cars clearing the leaf mulch off the track by spraying chemicals .
Amazing video 👍🏻
Just discovered your playlist - trains on the sea wall at Dawlish. I've been looking for new videos to keep me distracted and interested while I cycle indoors on the exercise bike (which is boring!) and your playlist is perfect! Thank you for putting this together.
Another great video!!
Beautiful steamvideo 👍🏻
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great video. Charleville is fairly unique as a station because its platforms straddle both Counties Limerick and Cork, the northernmost 15% or so being in Co. Limerick!
Never realised that until now. You're right. We learn something new every day.
Fine compilation of various train sets and unique viewing points in and around Dawlish last summer. Enjoyed your work Keith.
I really like your Trains at Dawlish Compilations.
Great Footage that is alot of train action at such a pretty location.
