You should totally make a short video demonstrating how you draw the maps... I've recently started 4AD and I got a dedicated notebook because I saw your videos. I've been trying to copy your patterns, because they're cool... but I'm not very good with drawing. I'm sure the community would love it!

Great adventure! Just saw this!! You spent a lot of emotion at the end deciding what to do. :😆 I would have rolled silently for the Warrior as he only reluctantly agreed to forget. As a warrior he is born to plunder! It would have been highly unlikely that he would have kept his promise. And he rolled not to touch the tree of knowledge! 🤣

Great video!! Love your enthusiasm and presentation! I've played 4AD and AAD a couple times, never overland, so this is cool. But I've found that the hardest part is finding rations in either game. The tables don't seem to offer much food. This game makes me hungry just playing it! :)

Thank you for making this video. It’s always a thrill to see someone play one of my games. The dexterity amulet is not a consumable item, so you keep it for the whole game. And I think I’ll make some other changes to the game based on this video, like HP after you defeat an enemy, and maybe some treasure.

When you draw your maps, do you immediately use ink or pencil first and ink later?

This is a beautiful journal! Subscribed! I use real paper journals as well and love the haptic aspect of solo gaming using real ink, dice and paper and you just gave me an idea. I think I start writing only on one page as well and use the blank side to glue images to it that illustrate the story somewhat. Definetly something to think about. Game on!

I love your playthrough videos! Great job and your happiness when things go well is always fun to hear. I hate telling people they did a rule wrong, but this may help you. For the small dragon you don’t roll twice on its turn. Only one roll, it will either breathe or have two attacks. It’s on page 73 of the Core Book in the FAQ section. You make the battle extra difficult and Lynella probably wouldn’t have died! 😮

Def rolls don't explode :) a 6 is an auto success.

Wow, this was really great. Very well done - character portraits, animations, music, ambient sounds... much appreciated. You obviously put a lot of effort into this. I hope you continue with this quest - having a long, overarching goal for the campaign like this makes things a lot more interesting.

Due that you asked about recommendation for OnePage Dungeons I would like to point out the Dungeon Backdrops of Raging Swan Press. These are Dungeons but you have to fill in some blanks yourself e.g. Random Monster and Treasure (the preview provides a pretty good idea about the product). Im planning to combine these with Four Against Darkness but somehow did not find the time to actually do it yet. BTW thanks for your content. It is entertaining and also inspiring to start an own journal for dungeon exploration instead of just a few notes on paper.
