We visited Ancol Beach in Jakarta. We were there on a week day. We were told that it gets busy on weekends. Plenty of places to eat, hire boats and paddle boats. Nice white beaches to swim. We visited Ancol Beach Shopping Mall which has a movie theatre and plenty of dining options. (Now permanently closed.)
