I loved Diporto!! Doesn’t have much of a menu selection, but the few things it does have a pretty good. It’s more about the atmosphere of the place that’s cool. I’m surprised about not being able to film considering a lot of TH-camrs have filmed inside there.

Some restaurants have two menus ... one for Greeks ... and one for tourists .... WITH HIGHER PRICES ! Also for the best food and good prices you must go away from the touristic places ! - Take the Athens Metro and go a few stations away from the center of Athens !! - Also Greek like to go where there is live music ... in particular on weekends ! If you want to eat like a Greek you must order the following: Kolokythikeftedes (κολοκυθοκεφτέδες) vegetarian Mydia Saganaki (μύδια σαγανάκι) Garides Saganaki (γαρίδες σαγανάκι) - Saganaki refers to the special cooking pot used to cook and also serv this dish Gavro Marinato (γαύρο μαρινάτο) Garidaki Tiganito (γαριδάκι τηγανητό) Bekri Meze (μπεκρή μεζέ) Verygood indeed Spetsofai (σπετσοφάï) sausage, pepper and onion casserole. Greek and Turkish coffee both have a similar way of preparation, but they have a different roast. Both are awesome. Coffee never grew in either countries so it's something they've take from other cultures. Sharing is caring.
