If youve made the Composite shot then drawn out the mask for the saber you'll find it in transform otherwise they may have moved it since updating versions.

Repeat the tutorial. If you want shots to be fired individually I always skip 5 frames after the first shot has left the frame however if you want it to be rapid fire then I skip 3 frames after the first shot is fired before I start again. I know its probably a bit confusing but experiment multiple times to see what works best for you. If you want a video example go to my 501st video, find a shot where a Clone is shooting and reduce the video speed to 0.25x and count the number of frames between blaster shots to help you.

Thanks for the kind words on the 501st video. As for FOTR it's been one of my larger stories and at the same time real life work has ramped up and taken most of my time. I might make some smaller stuff in the meantime but this one is delayed indefinatly. Sorry if this is disapointing.

As for the Minifigure I used the legs from a Viking worrior from cmf series 4, the torso from Eeth Koth (clone wars version) and the face was from Clara Oswold (Doctor who). As for the hair I cant remember but its quite easy to find on bricklink or firestar toys. Hope this helps and have a great day.😀

@@jediclonekag13 Character wise yes, I created her to command the Geonosis troopers as they never had an official legion number so I made her their General. The name I accidently made the same as Cara Dune from the Mandalorian as I thought of supergirls first name and then saw the film Dune as a good last name. Hadnt watched the Mandalorian in a while and accidently gave her name the same. Lol😂 still was a good lesson for me to double check everything.

@@jediclonekag13 yeah, accidental on my part as I honestly hadnt watched season 1 in a while. I thought about retconing it into a bigger story but thought its just better to own up to my mistake. Still had plenty of fun writing her and the dialoge with her troops and Anakin in the end.

Thanks man, it was literally just some experimentation work I did while I was bored, I can remember how to build them but I've now upgraded to CAC backpacks. the build was done by using a neck plate with the stud and then use the bluish grey brick with four studs on all sides, a republic printed round stud on the back, two tiles on the sides angled and finally two slope pieces on the top and bottom. hopefully I've explained that well enough to build it although if you watch the 501st video at certain points you can figure out what goes where.

Ive had to put it on hold unfortunatly as my rl job has had to take prioraty and I've felt very fatigued to keep continuing the project. I may work on some other smaller stuff just not FOTR right now. Sorry if this is dissapointing to hear.

Maybe your using an old version. Ive just checked Hitfilm and I havent received any pop ups about an update and I can still use the lightsword effects as usual. But Ill look further into it to see if anythings changed.

Ah ok I've just checked and yeah the newest version does force you to pay for the saber plug ins for a monthly subscription.😑 If you want to know which version I use its 2021.3, I havent been able to make anything for a while due to work but thanks for bringing this to my attention. Best advise I can give is if they still have the option to install V.2021.3 then go for that.

@@TheRealJBFilms I'm very sorry but if thats so then all I can suggest is to keep experimenting until you find a version that gives you the free plug for the Lightsaber. Ive never had to do go back to a previous version. Again Im sorry but thats all I can suggest.

Trim the Lightsaber mask to when you want it to start and when you want it to end on the footage timeline. should be the white line above the base footage that says mask 1. I think that's the issue your facing, I know it's happened to me plenty of times.

@@bezwiz Sorry to hear that mate. Without seeing whats on screen theres not much I can do. What I can suggest is doing the effect again but when starting with the mask trim the lightsaber timeline from the ignition to the end of the shot. If youve got different shots youll need to make a new mask for the saber but just copy the effect from the first shot and make any alterations necessary like blade thickness and glow. Just try that and follow my tutorial closely. I know it's tedious but its the best I can suggest without seeing whats on your screen. Hope this helps.

I used three lamps from both types as this really helps even out the light source and makes a scene look better. I hope my answer helped you.
