What a voice

I was there. I was blown away when they bought Chuck out!! He didn't sound the best, but it was still a once in a lifetime moment (to be fair, no singer should ever have to follow Mike Patton like that). I grew up listening to this band, with both singers. Easily one of the best shows I've ever attended.

Mike's smile at the end. Say whatever you want about the performance, I wonder if Mike had some admiration and respect for Chuck and FNM's first two records. It seems that way to me.

The Fillmore stage crew are known for super shoddy setup and sound check, this was was just so terribly done, it's been par for the course for Fillmore for a long time now. Kudos to the band for not waking off stage.

Based on the tuning, the original live recording has mostly likely been sped up, but I think these songs sound GREAT at this tempo. Lots of energy.

Is there a better quality copy anywhere, as in uncompressed by youtube/mp3, etc? This deserve a proper master if the source is available!

I waited a good hour for them to come on and press REC. Patton burping loudly and saying 'JESUS HELP ME!' is still in my vocab. The Beeb had incredible live rock. Donnington was usually played live . I first heard Pearl Jam and L7 on the legendary tampon Reading show. I vividly remember listening to it on the coach to Donnington as a 15 year old and knowing grunge was about to change everything..
