Testing out some Plant Towers for tomatoes. Plus basic drip feed irrigation setup with a timer
Hi Folks
In this episode I put together and test out some plant towers. I had not seen them before and thought they might be a great idea for a more urban planting environment.
I usually just use river cane and bailers twine but thought this might be a quick and compact solution.
I decided to plant 4 types of tomato, 4 cucumbers and 4 melons to test them out.
I also decided (mainly due to the heat) to setup and install a drip feed irrigation system with a timer for more controlled watering.
Hopefully we’ll get some fruit some time soon.!
Enjoy the video and thanks for watching

Pruning the fig tree part 2. 75L Tree bag watering system, fertiliser, Stihl Fs90 Tiller head
Hi Everyone. In part 2 of the pruning the fig tree I get to work setting up the tree bag watering system. This included preparing the area first by spreading fertiliser and rotavating with the FS90 tiller head attachment. The tree bag is actually really easy to setup and use and performed much better than I thought it would. The real test will be if it stands up to the sunshine and is durable e...
Pruning the Fig Tree Part 1. Getting to use my new Stihl Ms212 Chain Saw for the first time
Hi Folks and welcome back to the channel. In this video I finally get a round to trying to save our fig tree by pruning some of the dead branches which I think are infected by a fungus or bugs or something. Its taken this long as I didn't have a decent chainsaw. I finally bit the bullet and forked out for a Stihl Chainsaw. Not the smallest of the range but neither a pro size either. I was suita...
Mussels Marinara (Rustic Style) & Garlic bread outside on the Rocket Stove. Meet our new Rescue Pup!
Hi again folks. In this video I make some Mussels in a Rustic Marinara Sauce. My take on a Marinara Sauce at least…. Fry some chopped onions, garlic, then add some chopped tomato and reduce. Season with salt pepper, oregano and pesto to taste. Get the sauce nice and think so the juices from the mussels can infuse & loosen it up to help up the flavour level. Add the mussels and cover to steam. F...

Rocket Stove outdoor cooking:- Lamb Stew with beer infused herb gravy
Hi Everyone, In this video I make a lamb stew for dinner outside on the rocket stove. The family were out so I enjoyed some quiet time cooking it up in the countryside, taking in the evening air and fine weather. The recipe: 3 x lamb chops, fried until brown 1 x carrot, celery finely chopped and fried until soft. Add a bay leaf and sprig of rosemary for flavour. Add a diced potato and continue ...

It just might be...
Correct. The 1, 3, 5 in the field. The 2, 4, 6 on the road.
Ive been doing 2 for rotavating and 4 when using the 5-prong cultivator, (as I had no idea) defo going to mix it up a bit now, see if I get better results
For like the first half year owning my pasquali i didnt know i have a overrange gear😂
For me its more like 15 years...😂 Thanks goodness for the TH-cam community, helping expand my knowledge..

Hi i have one of these but its pull start do you know what startermoter it has as i would like to make it electric start
My father in law actually installed it (well paid a local mechanic to) about 20 years ago but I will get it looked at and feed back to you. The mechanic is still in business so they'll know for sure.
@@rusticmallorca thank you
If you send me a contact like TH-cam I can send you a picture of mine that cable from back end goes to the clutch cable
That would be excellent thanks you can email me at rusticmallorca@icloud.com
Hi, I have an older 1960 Pasquali Motoagricola which means it has an integral driven axle trailer. There’s another forward speed range available on your forwards/reverse lever. Look closely and you’ll see an arrow on a flip over piece which gives you another forward ratio! Flip the arrow to face backwards.
Wow that is amazing and I had no idea so thank you. I have had a quick look at my tractor and it looks like that piece can be flipped as you say but it's all a bit stiff so will need some attention. I will try and get a quick video out this week playing around with this so please have a watch and feedback to me what you think. Cheers again..
So that gives 6 forward and 3 reverse😁
I have managed to get a video out where I play around with this (thanks again btw) th-cam.com/video/HtcwPjaisgo/w-d-xo.html
Very nice place (and dogs!!), I hope you can progress with all the work!!
Thank you very much. I’ll keep at it.
Top job, buddy. I did exactly the same prepping for the windows I fitted to my apartment in Cala D'or....you made it look easier than it actually is 👍
Thanks man, thank the edit for making it look easy. Defo not my skills. Part 5 with the windows in coming soon. Thanks for watching
Totally Pro 😎
Cheers man, proper tasty too
Sabes que hay muchos profesionales viéndote ? Que pena das…
nice work i like to do my own windows n the future. is it always neccesary to make it level with cement? usual i see big screws and foam.
Hi and thanks. To be honest I have never installed a window before and just did what the aluminium window maker told me to do. In my case the old windows left a very large gap at the bottom too large to fill with foam as the architrave window trim was nowhere near wide enough to cover what would have been the foam. As its reforming rather than new installation I guess it depends on each individual installation as to the best method to choose. Good luck having a go, its great fun all the same
can't remember the last time I just calmly knocked up lunch for 14 outside on open fire.... brilliant work.
Thanks man. Fideuá o Paella really lends itself to cooking for large groups. It’s batch cooking, slow and steady throughout the morning that all comes together in the end. Always looks pro too once finished.
This is dope as fuck
Thanks man.
Buen sellado, sal a lo ultimo asi no despide tanto liquido y sabe mas a carne.
Si buenísimo gracias.

you were fortunate to be able to get a matching tire, or at least very close in tread.
To be fair there are still a good few of these tractors in circulation round these parts, kind of a testament to the build quality really. Tyres and a few more basic spares are readily available all be it a few days wait, probs cos we are on an island. It would be more challenging to find a spare for any of the steel or cast iron parts should they break but so far the local mechanic has sourced what I needed every time. He has a Chinese built mini tractor in his shop, dont recall the make but the water pump has been on order for 3 months. Put me right off changing to something more modern.

That is such a cool old tractor!!! I have an old Oliver that I need to get running as well. I have never seen a Pasquali though. Really cool name for an awesome tractor.
Yeah you are right it’s a cool tractor, and a cool name, we chuck an “Ito” on the end too as its the smallest of the range so its a Pasqualito to us, I just wish sometimes it had hydraulic steering… It’s in reasonable working order but there will be a few more videos to come just keeping on top of the maintenance and getting into the workings of it as well as the rotavator for the back, small tipping trailer and 5 prong cultivator, all of which need regular attention. Its a key bit of kit in the upkeep of our finca rustica. I am amazed how old mechanical machines such as this just keep going if they get TLC, no electrics to worry about, no diagnostics, a simple machine from a simpler time… I am going to spend the rest of the afternoon googling Oliver tractors now… Thanks for watching..
Looks amazing, keep it up your videos are such good quality

Just looking at it from a distance, it appears that the legs should extend wider to lend the hat-clothes rack more stability. When you get clothes hanging on the branches it will become top heavy. Also, the correct way to get it plumb and stable is to make your legs wider, but also deeper in extra height. That way you can brace the whole unit to some solid surface so that the main trunk is reasonably plumb and the use a thin block of wood to scribe the bottom of all the legs. If the tree is plumb and the floor level, that works. I've lowered the height of chairs and tables that way. . . . But all in all, it was an interesting idea.
Some of the things I was concerned about (besides my ability) with having the legs longer and higher up the trunk was possibly having to remove the lower branches which I kinda like. I also didn’t want the legs so big (which they would have had to be) that they draw focus away from the trunk and its lovely natural grain / form. I have seen the technique you mention a couple of times on this channel @paskmakes Neil makes great use of it several times and a lot of his work is great to follow along for armatures like myself. Defo worth checking out his channel. I have just uploaded part 2 if you would like to see how I end up with the finished product. I had to go a bit rustic, but the result was worth it I think. Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting.
I do some cooking but fish or Fry's in oil. It looks like you boiled the potato fries then partial fryed them, then fried the fish then returned the Fry's to the oil to fully cook them.
Hi and yes, this is my Rustic take on traditional British fish and chips. Par boil the potatoes for 10mins for extra fluffy inside and super crunchy outside. I cook them twice in oil for extra crunch but also because I only have one dutch oven so have to batch cook as best I can. Waiting for the oil to heat back up again between batches is important too Thanks for watching
