Yep Steve one of my favorite bands back in the day. My favorite albums are “fiction” and “character” if you were to check out any of their older stuff. Much more fond of their older work it’s more down your alley too.

Dark Tranquillity blew my mind when I first heard them over 20 years ago, they're truly magical in what they can do with music & creating atmosphere.

This is the second single of the new upcoming album Yesterwynde, which will be released 20th of september. Tuomas announced that this single will have a typical 80ies vibe which it definitely has. I hear influences clearly by Pink Floyds The Wall and Queens Bohemian Rhapsodie. In the chorus right after the instrumental part - which is a great remark on typical Nightwish power - and Choir I hear Agneta from ABBA in Floors voice. Story has elements of George Orwells 1984 and the video also is directing this way. Over all you need to hear it several times - like mostly in Nightwish songs - to get the full enjoyment with it. After 5 times watching I was addicted! Greetings from Germany!

The song is about fearmongering. I miss Marko, but Jukka is just as good a bass player. All the members of the band are great and the only way I would cease to be an avid fan is if Floor left. However, she has said that she will never leave because she loves Nightwish. She has a solo career too, so she has her cake and eats it too. 😊🤘

I’ve watched “Show Them” 50 times now and still haven’t been able to drop my eyes down to the lyrics.🤘😂 Thx, Steve! Btw -- I was just thinking: Band-Maid and The Warning, two very different bands, found something that would bring them together -- music! If only the people of the world could find something that would bring them together. I know... if peace and prosperity isn't enough, how about uniting for the very survival of our species! 🤔

Thanks from Japan 有難う 💛。 I witnessed the live debut of this song 😍 that was played as the encore & finale of the special concert by Band-Maid & The Warning on June 12 in Tokyo . My seat was located on the 2nd floor but in the center meaning in front of the two drummers. I was in bliss! It looked to me that Paulina and Akane literally and happily competed like a duel to see which drummer can kick harder enough to break their bass drum in the joint performance. 🤣 (FYI : In the special concert, The Warning, who opened as the special guest, performed so powerful that the Maids were fired up to start their turn with fullest energy as the hostess band. It was fun like a kind of martial arts between two fighters respecting each other. 😄)

The Warning "KEEP ME FED" Sharks 🦈🦈🦈'S

So TW and B-M met at a US festival in 2022 and said they should collaborate. They got that opportunity this year. They went to Japan and played three shows, one with Band-Maid. TW traveled to Japan two weeks early to write/compose/record with B-M and record a MV. They then played it together at their one concert together. In an interview on the PRS channel, Kanami and Dany said that more collaborations are in the future. Kanami wants B-M to go to Mexico and and Dany wants the collab to be in Spanish. Dany and Kanami play similar PRS guitars in the same color.

Excellent collaboration from two great bands, showing us who they are and what they do. This is now the gold standard for how collaborations should be done. They are both fans of each other and friends since they met at Aftershock a couple of years ago. No egos, just respect for each other. The song doesn't sound like anything either band would do on their own, but it's perfect for showing off each member. It looks like they had a blast doing it, and they have mentioned doing something like this again, only next time in Mexico.
