@@adithyasurisetti Hi, that's great. Ya maintenance cost is a bit high in BMW. But, the service interval is around 10000kms (6k to 8k cost) and I'm not sure of the time interval for Himalayan. I also had choices while buying a bike in this segment and I decided not to go with RE as it gives too much probs after 2-3 years. Few of my friends have it and they also said the same thing. So I would suggest you to think of these things and even obviously your budget too and then decide. All the best for your purchase!😊

@@Motoring333 Hi, yes the vibrations are present when you hit 6th hear @6000rpm, above 115kmph. But it's oly noticable in footpegs unless you touch the tank by hand. There are many othr bikes in this segment. I believe it depends on the users need and budget to select a proper bike for him/her.

Hi Vinay, as mentioned in your previous comment, you would not feel much of the vibrations until you reach a speed of 115kmph, 6th gear @6000rpm. After that, you may feel vibrations in the foot pegs and the tank too. As I have installed handle bar risers, I don't feel any vibrations in the handle bar. Except the engine grunting after the above mentioned RPM, I do not feel vibrations in my knee part (touching tank), until I touch the tank using my hands. Hope this helps!

Hi, I feel that the power is enough for riding in Indian roads. The sweet spot is at 6th gear from 80-120kmph. You will never feel that the power is less even while overtaking. In open highways, if you come across a sports bike, then you might feel it in your mind that your bike is slow, but this bike is made for a different purpose and it's not a sports tourer. If power is your main concern, then for quick pulls and flybys, I would recommend the KTM Adv. Regarding the vibrations, you would not feel much of it until you reach a speed of 115kmph, 6th gear @6000rpm. After that, you may feel vibrations in the foot pegs and the tank too. @@lokesh3428Hi, compared to the GS310 suspension, I feel no other bike has tat comfort level in the particular segment. In the test ride I took, the V-Strom did perform good and I was satisfied with the suspension. I will ride the V-Strom for a while and post a detailed review about it soon.

@@techandeducationinkannada7584 Currently, as the festive season is going on, you get 6-7 accessories as free and you even get a 10 years engine warranty. Since, we didn't want any accessories, they reduced the on-road price to a significant amount which I will be saying in the next vlog.

I agree that in this current year, there are many other options, but comfort and quality wise I don't think they match this bike (except the Triumph, as I have not tested the bike). I was supposed to buy the RE Himalayan, but all my friends suggested not to take it, as they already have RE's and everyone is facing lots of issues after 2-3 years. Conclusion: If a person wants a high performance bike, then KTM's are the one. If they need a good touring bike with decent performance in this price range and spec (suitable for Indian roads) then, they could get the BMW. Apart from this, even service cost and parts cost matters a lot.

@@sandipbaral192 that's great bro. Every bike comes with pros and cons. I was also in this situation and finally got this. No regrets now, I'm happy. If you want a bike for touring, comfort and good quality, then you can opt for the BMW. But, it depends on many other factors too, like budget, service cost, etc. Compared to the other 2 brands, the cost over here is a bit high when it comes to service and parts. But the quality is really top notch. For service, I pay 7-8k every 10,000 kms. And I pay an optional 9k every year for RSA, as you cannot give these bikes in normal mechanic shops while on a trip. RSA includes towing, 3 days stay and transport fee to your hometown.

@@saravanasara3073 Hi bro, the helmet is really awesome, it's very very comfortable and snug fits your head. Along with the helmet, I even mount a GoPro, but still I feel it's soo lite. Speaking about the padding, it's a blue padding inside which is both good and bad. The quality of the padding and foam is very good, but since it's blue in colour, it gets dirty soon. You need to clean it often. About the wind noise, it's not too much. But once I cross 90-100kmph, I hear it in a considerable amount. I would recommend you to use 3M earplugs while riding to secure your hearing (This applies to all the helmets). The helmet did not fade, it's been 1 year, but still there is gloss and I also clean the helmet once in 3 months and apply wax or polish on it. Conclusion: It's the best helmet you can get in the price range with safety ratings and even double-D rings.

Hi, that's a great question. As per my knowledge, a person with 5.6ft height can tip-toe both the legs. The seat height of BMW G310 GS is 835mm which comes as stock. But, fortunately you also have a lower sear bench option in the accessories list which might cost you around 3,500 INR. Hope this helps!

Hi, while going up to Ooty through the Kalhatty ghat road, everyone are allowed. But while coming back down, only TN43 registered licences are allowed. Yes, I do have a TN43 Licence.

Hi, that's a great question. As per my knowledge, we do have heated grips for the BMW G310 GS but, I'm not sure of the price. Even the accessories file which was sent to me while purchasing the bike, did not showcase the heated grips. I could see other countries selling them for around 24,000 INR. Mayb I'll contact someone from BMW Motorrad and get back to you on this.

Wear a good quality base layer Such as Rynox's Vapour Pro It is very very helpful because it soaks most of the sweat and improving your overall ride quality and saves your riding gear

2024 Summer is at the peak. It's damn hot everywhere and the jacket & pant getting wet a bit is normal. As @bhupender.04 said, a good quality of inner layers will do the work. My lower base layer is of Rynox and the upper base layer is a jersey kinda material which I got from the Wroom store. It's damn good and it is a dry fit material too. You can try them. Ride safe and keep yourself hydrated always while riding. Kudos!😊
