How To Choose The Best Hiking Boots
มุมมอง 4595 ปีที่แล้ว
How important is it to wear my boots in? Wearing your boots in is a must! While it can take a little more time and effort to wear your boots in properly, it will save you a lot of pain and discomfort (and blisters) in the long run. After first buying your boots, wear them around the house for a few days to make sure you are happy with the size and fit (most companies will allow you to return or...

So some Maori superstition stopped you from going to the top? Lol so stupid.
Hey dude, Hope you doing well. I just came across this video mate. Its very well executed and composed. If you doing OK then please upload more videos mate. Atleast one Just one every month.
Why are you wearing helmets?
Probably to protect their head in case of a fall.
Also to protect against rockfall.
Thanks for the nice video. Is this hiking is dangerous? Both summer and winter time. I would like to try one day Thanks
Hardcore uphill to Lake Unknown ! Thanks for sharing the awesome splendour of our mountain places.
I have a base layer, Merino fleece/ thermal and a Rab Downs. Would you still take a gortex waterproof too?
yes
Do you have Instagram
I'm planning on coming to nz from England and I'm a solo wild camper, what maps do you use and where to get them from thanks
speechless. so beautiful!
Spain never won Miss Universe except the year S was born
I may also add I have zero experience in skiing, being on ice and even camping 😂 I’m not trolling, it may seem like it since I’m old now but I feel it’s achievable and would be life changing for me
Depends where you live. If in CHCH, join Canterbury Mountaineering Club, otherwise the NZ Alpine Club.
Hi there. I’ve been extremely interested in mountaineering. Im a 32 year old single mother in good shape - not by mountaineering standards however and not even long distance cardio also I have absolutely zero experience mountaineering. Where would you suggest I start? What type of fitness would I train for? Cardio? Can I start in the gym? Rock climbing? This may sound wild and crazy but I feel it’s something I must do with the ultimate goal of mt cook. Ofcourse id love to do everest or k2 but even I can admit that would be absolutely insane and not possible. Great video xoxo
Hi this was a while ago so unsure if you have your answer. My suggestion is to join the NZ alpine club and get yourself on a snowcraft course. Cardio is a good place to start, get hiking/tramping and progress up to overnights/multiday walks. Rock climbing is a skill you will likely want to mountaineer in NZ even just the basics will make you far more comfortable in challenging terrain.
Thanks, Great video. What brand of tent is that? Cheers
Thanks! It's actually a tent I got in Europe for cheap, nothing special but here's the link. www.decathlon.co.uk/p/trekking-tunnel-tent-trek-900-ultralight-2-person-grey/_/R-p-323505?mc=8586318

Excellent video, thank you for your clear and concise presentation. I am planning on doing the Tongariro Crossing within the next 6 months, all going well.
I’m doing this next weekend, Labour Weekend 2020, with a big group of friends. A bit concerned about the cold.

Gorgeous!
Thank you! We'll have to check out some of your winter camping videos.
Stunning showcase of all these Auckland gems!
Awesome video guys. I'm looking at ways to self film. Fusion is next level. Might be the perfect way to fix Wing Surf Foiling here in Ruakaka 😎
Thanks Lee! Yeah it's really handy if you have a decent computer to edit on. Large files but works well not having to point the camera in one direction while trying to foil haha
Actually, Klæmintsgjógv is the name of the world´s largest seacave. The cave that today is known to be the largest seacave in the world is called Rikoriko located in New Zealand with it´s 220.000 cubic meters. But that is not true anymore. A Faroese sea explorer called Magni Laksafoss has recently measured the volume of Klæmintsgjógv, and with his stunning result he found out that Klæmintsgjógv is 348,000 cubic meters. Klæmintsgjógv is located at the westside of the island of Hestur in the Faroe Islands.
This is Rikoriko Cave at the Poor Knights Islands, oh wow didn't realise that I'll look in to it! Thank you :)
Mean Video
Thanks JB!
Great work team! So glad we can work alongside such a eco conscious business! Looking forward to sending you guys some business from ATS/AOT to help you reach that tree planting goal!
