Wow! Love to Petula and Karen .. for “Love may grow for all we know “

Im bawling my eyes out.

I still have about 16/ 90 minute tapes I recorded live from Candlelight & wine. Had tons but many stolen plus a house fire. Some of these tapes are from the 80s. Nice hearing Don Perrish agian and his poems. Some things I have of Don many may not of ever heard before. Many are faded. Not to worry. This winter I will spend hours bringing them back to life the BEAUTIFUL WAY MY WAY.? If all goes well I will give ( Just A Guy copies) And he can post on Utube. What I wanted to do back in the 80s with Don Perrish was to be in a Video my way. As much as Toronto has changed what I had in mind will not effect it even though things have Changed. Not sure if anyone from CHIFI remember me visiting the station back in the 80s. But I did have permition to recoed Don live on Candlelight & Wine. If I decide to finally make a video as I wanted back in the 80s and Don involved. It will Start April 23 2025. For certain reasons my name and other will ever be mentioned. CHFI FM will have the Video I make. ( When Don passed on CHFI FM did not know what happened to all the records Don played and never did contact me on finding them. The Video will be 100 % of the Music Don played and some from the Original candlelight and wine Albums. ( Very quickly I brought the music here on Just A Guys video more to life my way and the Beautiful way. ) World of differance in the sound and very clear. There was a fancy Restaurant in Toronto. ( Casa Mendoza ) They knew me well plus was waiting for my Video. Unfortuantly it cloed down. From the outside patio I did capture parts of the CN tower and lake and still have it on video. Part of Casa Mendoza I wanted in the Video CHFI FM Candlelight & wine. Will take a very long time.

( To just A Guy on your other post ) When Don had a stroke the other guy I forget his name but he did Candlelight & Wine while Don was in the hosital. Somewhere I have the tape where I recoded him. He could have kept Candlelight & Wine going after the loss of Don. But for some reason CHFI did not continue with Candlelight & Wine. Not sure anyone would remember me when I visited the station back in the 80s over doing a special video with Don and Candlelight & Wine. 9/18/2024 Think I found tapes for the one who covered for Don and did the candlelight & wine show. Postive it was Paul Fisher. In winter I will play all I have and make safety copies and let others know his name.

I still have many tapes I recored from Don live. To me Don & Candlelight & Wine are not forgoton.( And BEAUTIFUL ) I might re think on what I wanted to do with Don back in the early 80s. For what I had in mind plus special effects I am the only one in this world that can do it. And have a special video. Not just for Don but for someone very very Special to me which I can never bring back. Mostly over her it will be called ( Beautiful. )

The women were far hotter and more feminine during this time period, and America was such a brighter and happier place. We have lost so much of irreplaceable value, things that simply cannot be recreated or put back, and we will never see them again. Except in photos and memories and songs. 😞

I don't know where performers find the strength to perform mere days after their friends pass away, especially under tragic circumstances at a young age. One girl I knew (barely) took her own life a few years ago, and I was a wreck for months. I still cry about the untimely deaths of several of my favourite artists. (I am 43/m and married with two kids...)

Beautiful Song that really speaks out The Real Truth Especially just by The Way how God created Beautiful Women to come right into our very own lives. it is Really Amazing just how Women looked way way back into those days because to me as a Man hey! what can i say i enjoy the glance just by checking them out. these women right here brought US Beatty like never ever before scene. It's hard looking at her beautiful photos knowing that life has left her. Who had more life in their eyes and their spirit than Olivia?

Some of the "girls" are a little old for the list. For them, it should be: "MILF, oh what you do to me." Meredith Baxter should not be shown in a picture with David Birney, an abusive pretty boy jock who drove her to lesbianism.

I remember listening to this on 99.9 magic FM from Winnipeg in the late 90s early 2000s. It was definitely a relaxing show to help wind down the evening. I remember I would go to bed early just so I could listen to it on headphones. wish lovers and other strangers was still on.

I have no idea why I recognized so many of these women. I knew them as adults.

Sorry Petula not a patch on Karen’s voice, much as I think u are a good singer as well, but there are some songs that no other singer should attempt

This helps us to remember her as the beautiful '5ft 4 tornado' (Richard's description) she was at her peak. The best female voice ever.

I had to cry. I really loved the Carpenters, especially Karen, her smile, her soft voice, her talent... why did she have to go so early. Shame on the haters.

I stopped and taked to Olivia in south Yarra in Melbourne 1995 i said God Bless you 🙏 as i knew she had just recovered from Cancer She was very happy and said Thankyou. I think she said the Lords prayer 🙏 every night for thanks for her daughter 🙏 health . I think later in life attended church Mass in the valley 🙏 were she lived.
