haaa, I just put my new navy blue cashmere cardi on today, cut, colour ,mother of pearl buttons , sleeves all just right, could be seen as nunnish !!!!! polka dots are very classic too, taking time , finding yourself and showing the world who you are is sublte and is empowering , the picky girls at school are still bitching in the back ground .... let them be sad and inadequate , xx

Kates right about the ankle strap!🤣 First thing my husband noticed about me when we met forty years ago, my ankles🤣.He has a picture of me in a black velvet dress and ankle strap shoes on a train in London ( our first ever visit) lying along the seats of one of those little closed carriages from another era. I felt like had broken a rule doing that🤣. Times have changed, thankfully! And I’m glad I was so daring otherwise he would not have that picture of me!❤

In conversation with the shoe that had the strap, I still remember this backstage photograph of Kate at one of Gianni’s last Versus shows. Kate was wearing this all black number with a scarf and mini skirt and there was a shot of her putting on a shoe with a strap and thought it was one of the most strikingly chic backstage shots.
