this edit is not the final version. this is a "reference" version. I tried making the song more clear sounding so I can use this for the final version. I just know that people have been waiting for a restoration of this track so here is an unfinished version. I'm sorry but this will not be finished for a while

Hey! what is the name of the cd you found this
Best one so far
how did you get it ?
Only the first link works for me. The rest say no permission to access.
I find it a slap in the face to John Belushi's friends and family that considering Billy Preston was a musical guest on SNL in the 70's and in the mid 80's Ray Sharkey host SNL and they both participated in this movie, Billy Preston also was one of The Louisiana Gator Boys in Blues Brothers 2000. I wonder if Dan Aykroyd was aware of that considering he had Wired actor J.T. Walsh fired from his movie Loose Cannons but appeared in the Adam Sandler Drew Barrymore romantic comedy 50 first dates where Blake Clark who played the enforcer Dusty Jenkins in Wired was Drew Barrymore's father in that movie.
Fique ao lado do seu homem The Blues Brothers Às vezes é difícil ser uma mulher Dar todo o seu amor a apenas um homem E se você o ama Ó, tenha orgulho dele Porque afinal ele é apenas um homem Fique ao lado do seu homem Dê a ele dois braços para se agarrar E algo quente para vir quando as noites são frias e solitárias Fique ao lado do seu homem E diga ao mundo que você o ama Continue dando todo o amor que puder Baby, fique ao lado do seu homem Stand By Your Man The Blues Brothers Sometimes it's hard to be a woman Giving all your love to just one man And if you love him O be proud of him 'Cause after all he's just a man Stand by your man Give him two arms to cling to And something warm to come to when nights are cold and lonely Stand by your man And tell the world you love him Keep givin' all the love you can Baby, stand by your man

I still dont get why they didnt put this on the record
I love how they actually recorded it singing slightly out of tune.

Billy Preston was a musical guest on SNL in the 70s when John was still in the cast and in 1998 appeared in the movie Blues Brothers 2000. A little trivia and also the song 634-5789 was written by Blues Brothers band guitarist Steve Cropper

Though this song was never used in the original Blues Brothers setlist or on SNL ironically it was written by Blues Brothers guitarist Steve Cropper and used in Blues Brothers 2000,i hope Steve got paid for the use of this song by the creators of Wired
I first saw this movie at 12 years old and a month later read the book and when I was getting to the part of the book during John's final moments I heard this music score in my head.
Ive only seen half of the movie before I got mad and shut it off
Still sounds like the real John and Dan
Chiklis does have a really great singing voice
He does
Very similar to the score to A Clockwork Orange where at the beginning when Alex and his droogs are sitting quietly in the milk bar planning their activities involving the ultra violence.
This movie did have a really good score, almost Wendy Carlos did in A Clockwork Orange
Tremendo discazo!
Would love to hear the whole song sounding like this

@@ejflood48 No problem, man.
I do wonder why Dan & Jim took it upon themselves to make a completely different R&B revue separate from the Blues Brothers where they aren't playing Elwood & Brother Zee. It seems kinda superfluous to me. Were there times when they couldn't get the BB license or something but still wanted to do a blues show?
I think it was because it was kinda like a promotional album for Jim's show at the time. I think Dan Aykroyd was just brought in to further promote it. Many of the songs they perform on the album are on the actual show itself and the show's soundtrack album
@Demon426 Was Jim known for singin' the blues on the show? I've never watched it.
@@elwoodjacobs4353 yes he was. He played with The Sacred Hearts Band

@Demon426 I forget if I asked you this on your original channel, but have you seen or heard of the Disney Channel Blues Brothers look-back special from 1993?
I don't know about you, but most of the Elwood Blues Revue is a lowpoint for Elwood, imo. Knowing Elwood as a character (especially with that speech about not letting classic music die to modern stuff in B.B. 2000), he would _never_ stoop to performing songs with keyboard drumbeats or sampled rhythms. If it was just Dan Aykroyd doing them as Dan Aykroyd, I wouldn't have a problem, but it's the fact that it's _Elwood._
I like Land Of A Thousand Dances and I kinda like Dragboat and Hot Weasel but I don't like the others. They're just extremely hard to find so I figured I'd post them
@Demon426 I do appreciate the fact that you're preserving them, but as a BB junkie, thay aren't for me.
Picked up a vintage, original cassette of the Blues Brothers ost from 1980 for $3.
Awesome. Somewhere I have a signed copy of the soundtrack record signed by Aykroyd and Belushi my grandfather got
@@ejflood48 Which Belushi, John or Jim?
@@elwoodjacobs4353 I prefer John. He just had more of a charm to him. I respect Jim but I think John was a better singer and he was funnier.
@@ejflood48 Good to get your opinion, but I meant which Belushi signed the record. 😆
@@elwoodjacobs4353 oh sorry. John belushi
Feeling all right?
I am feeling great although a bit frustrated. Thank you for asking. I apologize I haven't posted anything in a while but there has been a lot of testing in school. I have also been working on Belushi's Final Concert on which I have made a significant amount of progress. It will still take some time to completely restore it but I hope to have it done soon. I will be posting "test" restorations of Who's Making Love to show everyone my progress. Hope you are doing well and again thank you for asking
Good to hear. It completely slipped my mind that you would be in school. 😆 I've been well. Just made a custom mini album called "Blues Brothers: A New, Blue Generation," which consists of six songs John Belushi never recorded when he played Jake, sung by other guys playing Jake & Elwood.

Question for you as I haven't seen Wired: Within the movie, is this song being sung by Jake & Elwood, as it's their actors in the movie singing it? Reason I ask is because I've been putting together a little playlist of other people playing Jake & singing songs John never sang when he played Jake, & so far I've got "634-5789" from Wired, "Hound Dog" by the Jake & Elwood Blues Revue, & "Shout," "Land of 1000 Dances," & "All She Wants To Do Is Rock" by the Official Blues Brothers Revue, & I want to know of this song qualifies.
This song is performed by The Blues Brothers after they play Soul Man in one of their concerts. They play 634-5789 during a rehearsal for Saturday Night Live. They perform I'm A King Bee at the beginning of the film while on SNL
@@ejflood48 Thank you kindly.
It's such a weird thing to think that it's Michael Chiklis & Gary Grooms _playing_ John Belushi & Dan Aykroyd _playing_ Jake & Elwood, but the same can be said for anyone who plays actors in biopics (not that Wired is a _biopic)._
@@elwoodjacobs4353 I think Michael Chiklis was great as Belushi and Gary Grooms was fairly good as Aykroyd
I thought Gary Grooms was a little old to be Dan Aykroyd or looked it where Chiklis was perfect age considering he was in his mid to late 20's at the time of this movie and was also able to play someone in their early 30's who just died. The same about Gary Grooms can be said for Lucinda Kenney who plays Judy Belushi(RIP real life Judy) and Patti D'arbinville who played Cathy Smith(hope the Lord had mercy on the soul of the real Cathy,RIP) both actresses as well looked to old for who they were playing but hey,I guess there were younger actors and actresses that probably didn't want to go near this film project. I do think about the times, because I do remember Hollywood did not want this movie made. Read the book by Bob Woodward and you'll see why.
I was trying to find one without all the movie sounds. Thank you for uploading it.
I have a question/request if you have it or can get it.
yes?
@Demon426 Do you have or can you get the isolated vocals for the accapella rendition of John the Revelator from the opening of Blues Brothers 2000? In the movie, naturally, there's background noise as Elwood is being released from Joliet Correctional that bleeds into the song, & other than making part of it the opening to the tent revival version on the soundtrack album, they never released it as its own track.
@@elwoodjacobs4353 I had a heavily edited version that removed all the background noise. It sounded great. Unfortunately I lost it when I got a new phone. I will work on a new one for you though.
@@ejflood48 Thank you.
