I don't know what to think of her exit from the scene, as consistent with the character and perfect punishment for Hye-rang for everything she did.

It always struck me that they both saw each other as an insurmountable obstacle, an unattainable goal, but neither of them saw their own qualities. From this point of view, it is good for the competitive side, since this allowed them to constantly improve (which, noteworthy, is what Hye-rang wanted to prevent Ok-gyeong at all costs, condemning her to stagnation, to apathy), but it becomes a problem if this becomes an obsession, as happened to Jeong-nyeon who led her to the current situation. That said, however, despite the various frictions and push and pull in which sometimes they were a bit of friends and other times they couldn't even see each other, I found it very nice of Young-seo to confront Jeong-nyeon openly, it was a first step towards the latter's recovery.
