The music is a feeling i know all too well. It's like you're born as a person, a woman, shoved forward in life, and before you know it you cant even know who you could be. The hungry part hits especially hard in multiple ways it could be saying that we crave something becuase so much was taken away from us but we dont know what becuase not a single women has had it ever or it could go the way of being actually hungry ED's are horribly popular among women becuase of social media and mens standards. You need to look or else you are lazy. you cant look to good or care to much becuase your a tryhard and boys only like "natural" girls do the oppisite your lazy, ugly, and dont care enough. Being a women sucks.

As a transmasc guy (aka I was born with a female body but feel like I’m a dude), I feel this to my soul, it’s almost funny the every single month when I get my period I forget that I have one right before and then it comes and you just sit there in your blood like “oh, right, yeah, time to experience horrible pain and literally bleed blood out of my vagina for a week straight and cry in my bed every night wondering why it has to be like this”, and then cisgender men have the absolute fucking nerve to say that “periods aren’t that bad” and that “period cramps don’t hurt THAT much, just walk it off”, I may be a boy weather people like it or not, but from my past years of going through the female experience of being cat called, victim blamed, being told “boys will be boys” and “he just probably likes you!! Don’t be so hard on him” after I have screamed at my teachers for years that “no it is probably not ok that these boys are pushing me face first onto concrete, destroying my self as teem and beating me up” and wishing that I could go back to that little sweet girl and tell her that “no! Your not over reacting”, it is not easy being a women , and people need to realise that.

Having to make us pretty and make us look beautiful for you men? It’s cringy how you men call us fake for the surgeries we get just to look beautiful for you. Try living in girls shoes. I really like this video. I think women need to portrayed human beings with emotions and feelings rather than just a "distration of men" or "selfish gold diggers" like they are often portrayed to the masses. This type of generalisation and dehumanisation is a disease. Edit: For the people wondering. Yes, I am a guy.

No matter what I do, the amount of kindness I show, the amount of self-awareness I show of my own problems and how much I'm working on them constantly to be a better person for the people around me, the amount of weight I pull for family and friends, the amount of self-restriction I must have to not scream, cry or jump off a fucking cliff out of pure agony I feel every single day of existing, the amount of leading and planning I must do for my loved ones despite my own life and brain being pure chaos, the amount of strength I must show when a loved one is sick or going through something and I need to help them or others as much as I can... no matter what I do, I will always be taken for granted and I will never be enough for anybody. No matter how much I do things better than last time and how much progress I make, I'm only critiqued and not congratulated or appreciated. I'm never affirmed as a person, I'm only seen as something flawed to be improved. I'm just something that must pursuit perfection until my death. My existence is a thankless job and if nothing changes, one day I'll be nothing but a lonely broken husk like my mother and her mother before me.

To everyone who is doing homework, leave the chat, breathe slowly, take a sip of water, and focus. To everyone who is trying to sleep, leave the chat, grab a blanket, and get the rest you deserve. To everyone who is feeling sad, grab a snack, get some water, get a blanket, and write down your thoughts. When you're done, lay down, and get some rest, no matter the time. To everyone who is creating, you got this. Your art is amazing. Remain in your flow and get stuff done! -Not mine, but pass it around babes <33

Also part of being a woman is being underrepresented racially in a video about the UNIVERSAL PAIN of womanhood, feeling that rejection, but also being GRATEFUL that at least the video showed a few black and brown women for milliseconds at a time in a sea of white women struggling in womanhood because, somehow, they universally represent the struggle of womanhood.

One day … women realize their performance in this never-ending clown show is truly voluntary. -They do not have to acquiesce to any of the standards or norms. -They do not have to reproduce more participants and victims to suffer in it as well. *You all can liberate yourselves and your progeny from all of this … if you are courageous enough to make that choice.* ❤

Life of a woman is like a never ending dance to please people who don’t care about how much you break on the inside. You’re in a frayed ballet skirt and your pointe shoes are disintegrating, but you keep dancing because it’s what you’ve been told to do your whole life:to please. If we stop dancing, we are somehow the bad ones.

I have never found a more resonant experience to my own than this. While it is not for me to share in directly, these truths about womanhood can teach all of us about the price that is paid everyday, by so many people, for a system that serves only it's masters and perpetrators. To learn the lesson is to be free, and being free means you are no longer a perpetuator.

The standards women are held to and the expectations on them are insane. It's like no matter what you do, you can't win. Take weight for example. If you're too fat, it's bad. If you're too thin, it's bad. And then when you finally find the ideal middle point you're STILL doing it wrong because you're trying too hard. There's no way to win, and it's exactly the same with everything. All of what America is talking about in the Barbie speech; you have to do things, but don't do them TOO much or it's unlikeable. And CERTAINLY don't do them the right amount because obviously that means you're doing it for men and you're a pick me and any number of other insults. And yes, obviously there are expectations on men too. No one is denying that. But it's not nearly to the same degree, not even remotely. We have so much more freedom in what's considered socially acceptable for us to do, and for how we can look. And yes, women know that YOU SPECIFICALLY aren't a part of the problem. Unless you are, in which case you're an asshole and should get help. They aren't accusing you specifically of this, but every woman knows a woman who's had a bad/scary experience with a man, and instead of needlessly defending yourself you should aim to be the man she feels comfortable around, and who will listen and empathize with what she's saying. My main point is, just try and listen and understand women when they're talking about their problems. There's a time to talk about our problems and most women will be happy to listen, but that time is never when they're talking about theirs. Both are real issues, but they can both exist at the same time and we don't need to turn it into a competition.
