The purpose of the Muskegon Rotary Club is create lasting, positive change. We've been doing that here in Muskegon, Michigan since 1916. We are a part of Rotary International, a group of more than 1.2 million people around the world, working to improve lives and communities. We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders

Craig and his team gather and then auction off items to raise money that assists local students pay the cost of traveling to a foreign country. This quarterly fundraiser is worth more than the effort it takes to raise the money. The value of experiencing another culture will improve the outlook and social understanding of these students for the rest of their lives.

Learn about a proposal to reduce food insecurity in Muskegon County from Jennifer Baranga of Access Health. The Food Club is a member-driven grocery offering a full range of food options with incentives to purchase healthier items. Already established in Grand Rapids, Holland, and Ludington, this model emphasized respect, dignity, choice and active participation by members.

Muskegon is dying. It's nothing but weed shops and dollar stores. It destroys everything. The Seaway Festival went thru various stages. Eventually, it went away. They are trying to do the microbrewery thing. That will die soon. Muskegon isn't the right demographic. Bring large companies back.
