The author wrongly mentions that the system didn't account for planets while the entire system is around the influence of planets on events which is what is somhita book, The effect on people which is what is in hora book, and the required mathematical calculations, which precisely calculated the orbital time of each of the planets (to three points after the decimal )that is part of siddhanta book...

Nine planets are and have been foundational to this system ... To be able to locate where these nine planets are at any given time in space ....side note : seven of which are physical and two are Shadow planets because they represent the intersection points of elliptical orbits of Earth around sun and Moon around Earth ( Rahu and Ketu ) ... The 12 rashi and 27 nakshatras were used...

The author mentions about nakshatra but he could have also mentioned about one of them called moola ( Sanskrit word for root )nakshatra... Which points to the center of the universe ( and hence also sometimes referred to as Vishnu nabhi ...the naval of Lord Vishnu ...Vishnu is regarded as the nurturing force of Universe and hence his Naval points to the origin point of that force ).. Science is yet to determine whether that's in fact the center, but at the very least the system was very much aware of the planetary system, the solar system, the Galaxy, and the universe to be able to efficiently incorporate all of these into intricate mathematical formula.... Which is what panchangi is about that the author briefly mentions but does not elaborate on..

I can see how Moon and Ketu together can be tough. They are very much opposite energies in a way; Moon wanting to engage and connect and Ketu being detached and not so present.

Do you attribute your tough time to the Ketu Moon conjunction?

I think because of the third aspect of Saturn on Jupiter, I used to be a lot more hopeful but now I see more of the dark side of life and I try to stay positive but it's so hard I totally feel this energy something is asking me to be realistic@@KarmaAndConsciousness

My thoughts about death or suffering have changed, a voice in my head tells me that this is the truth of life. I was not like this before@@KarmaAndConsciousness

Sorry to hear that. What do you attribute this to? At least astrologically, and in terms of the transits, Jupiter passed into Aries about 9 months ago. In addition it has had an aspect from Saturn all that time, whilst being in a Ketu Nakshatra.

I have a debilitating Jupiter - in 4th house with mars - in the sign of libra . Lost my job 8-9 months ago… not getting new one, getting rejections everywhere …. My bf broke up and ghosted me, unexpectedly around 6-7 months ago… I feel totally clueless and directionless

​@@Geet-1111 Keep an eye on Mars as he is passing through Capricorn. I think there is something helpful at the moment with the exaltation because you may get career support from others.

Hey. 🙂 Well, there may be a couple of factors. For Aries Ascendent Jupiter can certainly be a detracting influence, especially if he's there in the Lagna. May lead to loss of health in general. Though I wouldn't know the specific causes just going off this information. Also Moon and Saturn together in the birth chart can create mental anxiety, stress and loneliness etc. I do worry about transits being confusing to viewers. I understand that it can seem complicated so I will always simplify. But yeah, it will tend to be a spiritual lesson from Jupiter for Aries but may not feel great.

You're welcome Cat. 🙂 Yes, the Yoni brings birth and death. It's the continuum of life; gradations and levels of existence. In this sense death is a pivot point to 'the next life' and a new form. But I think first we make the judgement and then we will know better in which direction we have to go.

The other thing that will influence this is the aspect from Saturn. I forgot about that. The aspect has been there for a long time but now it is exact so we are feeling it more accutely. Also, your 4th Lord Mars is transitting your 12th House and exchanging with the 12th Lord. Jupiter moves slowly but soon it will pass into Bharani. We'll see what it brings. Mars will pass from Sagittarius in a week or so.

Hello. Glad this video was interesting for you. It's been a while since I made it but I'll try to explain. The first concept is just non-ego thinking and practicing thinking from a different point of view, for example someone else's ego. Of course it is impossible to actually be another person but with astrology we need to get used to being just another self that is similar to all other selves because the inherent nature of it transcends the limited experiences we become attached to. The second point was that you can see ideas in things. Plato writes about this. There should be some quotes and writings from Plato you can find. A car is not just a car for example; it represents a type of energy. In astrology we associate it with Mars. So when you see multiple things that represent the same energy - this is astrological thinking. Third point has to do with yin and yang. Beginnings become endings, life becomes death, and then it reverses again in an infinite loop. Since in astrology we're looking at planets moving all the time it can be helpful to examine all cycles at all levels. Nothing ever stops; there is just continuity so it's about trying to live with that continuity. Hope that helps. Most forms of spiritual practice out there help with these concepts.
