Damn shame Rickey tried to pawn these guys off as the new Blackfoot. Don't get me wrong, I've met all these guys and they are a hell of a group of musicians. The singer went on to help establish a group called dirty soul revival and they were also a great group. Wish Rickey could reconcil with Charlie and Greg b4 another one passes on.

They bring it alright they bring a catastrophe everytime. I would rather see them live doin covers than most of any original artists everytime all day . That showcased the keyboard guy n the lead singer without a doubt. The Drummer was right there tight n just doing what fit nothing more but perfect for that song . Thats what they call making music! Ok yes they covered it but they threw that little extension on the end with the guitarist throwing in something & the wizard keyboard player putting alittle extra in there . The final ending with lead singer turned to the drummer n had the hands up n down was phenomenal!!!!

Man I love clinics! You get to really interact with musicians you’ve usually had to watch from 100 yards away. I went to one in 1985 with AJ Pero and Alan White! Awesome to see different genre musicians together.

I recognise that fill”. Carmine, get over the fact that there’s fills that drummers do that you did not invent and you’re not special or inventive in anyway. He also claims that the drum intro for Hot for Teacher by van Halen was taken from one of his Cactus tracks. As an experiment try to find an interview where this fool does not claim that someone took his style. It’s impossible. He is so desperate for recognition because he has t created any drum legacy unlike Bonham, Caliuta, Baker, Moon etc. A 5 year old non drummer could play those simple fills with ease. Get over yourself mr Appice, it’s getting boring.

As a fellow drummer of 67, Carmine & Dino from The Young Rascals were my top 2 favorite. Their style & showmanship really helped shape me. And later Mitch Mitchell & Keith Moon.

I can't believe that Carmine Appice is doing a drum clinic and the store in which he is doing it, doesn't have the brains or intelligence to be recording it with an audio and video. Some customer is doing it with his cell phone and moving around like a true rookie. Shame on that store!!!
