This is footage of our MG Metro 6R4 competing in the 2016 6R4.com Rally Challenge Final. Six stages wins resulted in 2nd overall, just 5 seconds behind an M-Sport Fiesta. We aim to return for our annual rally in 2017 in an effort to increase our tally of 7 outright wins.

From what I saw on Wikipedia, the engine management system for the Cosworth Turbo V6 was a highly modified version of Ford’s off the shelf EEC-IV engine management system.
Im suprised that production ECU was able to keep up with such revs.

Will Gollup in rally cross did put a turbo on his rally cross version in the 80s/ 90s n put out about 550bhp

wasn't it a v64v? ie V6 4 valves per cylinder? I'm sure that's what it was unless that was a later developed engine?
the rare development engines were "cut down rover v8s" which were 2 valves per cylinder...

Bugger about the video dropping out so soon on this part, other than that kudos to posting a long lost vid!
I think that this was a rehashed episode made from re-cut footage from the previous hour long Equinox episodes that were made on the development of the Lola FORCE THL 2. Some new footage involves the Benetton team that carried on using the developed V6 engine after the Lola team folded.
Isn't this the same movie that's in here in the full hour long version about turboing the formula 1's?
