Is there a certain day on the calendar that counts as the first day of the quarter, or does it just depend on when you sign up for the card? Like could I just mark my calendar for the day that it's time to go on the website and de signate the 5% back?

quick comment: the cell phone insurance is up to 1000 dollars of coverage with 2 claims per year, but only up to 800 dollars per claim, which means that if you loose your expensive phone, you will not get 100% covered.

I own the Chase trifecta, Amex gold (which I’m considering canceling), and the Venture X. I’m debating if I should get the citi strata or boost my venture x with the savor one card. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks…

Used to be good, but they lowered the cashback rate for non-paypal purchases to 1.5%. Currently shopping for a new card

Seems to be a very well rounded card for the major categories. My only question is the 10X for hotels and car rentals, does the Citi portal have higher prices to pretty much offset the multiplier? It’s like raising the base price 20% and then saying there’s a 20% sale 😂

incorrect on the first free night, its during the first year too. It says so when you're reading off the page in your video

Just to double-check, the 100$ hotel credit isn't just for a single night of $500, but it can be used for a multi-night stay right?

According to Credit Karma (suggestion) OpenSky Plus has 0 Annual Fees, AND 10% cash back (over 40,000 participating retail stores.) The other OpenSky card (non Plus) has a bit lower APR %, WITH $35 Annual Fee, and ALSO states 10% cash back. *After clicking on the details, it states UP TO 10%. Nevertheless, evidently there IS cash back benefits on that card. *Their main website ALSO confirms rewards benefits for cash back.

I applied for a BMO Cashback MasterCard online. Received a confirmation of the application by e-mail with a request to wait 8-10 working days for a decision. After no text or phone response to me for two weeks, I called the support center by myself. After a lengthy verification of my details, I was connected to the security department. I received a reply from them that I must visit the bank branch in person. In the bank branch I was informed that they cannot open a BMO Cashback MasterCard for me, only a secure credit with a deposit of 500 or 1000 dollars to the account. I asked: what is the reason for the refusal? Documents? Documents - ok. Credit scores? 747. The only voiced reason is that I am a newcomer. But I have a 3-year work permit. However, I have open lines of credit with two other very well-known banks more than year. BMO, this is very strange and not pleasant!

I'm debating between the PayPal Cash Back Credit card or Citi Double Cash as my everyday card. Which would you choose? I just want cashback and it to build every month. I do use sites that accept Paypal so that is an extra perk. What would you recommend?

I’ve held this card for a couple years. The annual fee is not justified considering how limited the rewards are. Allegiant flies out of my home airport but I don’t like being tied to using them only. Learned the lesson the hard way 😂

The reality of their points. Super hard finding a 7,500 in USA that is worth it. 15,000 points for 90 percent of the hotels. 30,000 points is where this card makes sense. I have the earner plus. Looking to get this one next year.

I think that the Amex green card with the city strata premier is a big Combo. You get almost everything.

All I get is runaround I personally would be a personal slave to the grind if this was actually possible F

This is a great credit card for those who are still rebuilding their credit. I messed up my credit back in 2020 and was at the low 550s. As of today, I'm now at low 700s with a Quicksilver, SavorOne, and I recently just got approved for VentureOne. My goal is to continue to use all 3, pay off every month, and eventually, I will apply for the Venture X.

So do you have to book 5 nights and u get the 5th free or book 4 nights and the 5 is added?

Thanks for your info. I wish i did some research before getting this card. I've had it for 2 years and they want MONEY. Said i was approved for an increase of $150 but have to pay $19.95. No im good on that . Now they are trying to push the 5X Platinum card on me credit line of $600 but annual fee is $95. And the latest email i received says its a $1,000 credit line offer. No thank you. I will be better off paying $95 for a hotel card or Chase Sapphire. I just received the Chase freedom Unlimited with No annual fee. I'm happy.

I got it but I think I'll cancel it. I don't like that I have to wait for my Cash back until feb of the next year in the form of a certificate! What is this 1999?! If you don't renew you lose all your cash back, so you're pressured to renew just to get yiur certificate! No other card wirks like this, every other cards let you use your cash back at any time via app. Maybe boomers are ok with this card.
