I have a 27 horse with auto choke too. So push the rod up instead of it being in the down position? While tightening everything down?
yes
🏍️👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
You are doing all your videos ass-backwards. Lol
@@edZILLA64 lmao ok
😎👍👍
Good job!
Have you ridden her,yet?
30 miles so far , I will do 30 more today . then change my oil , its shifting fine and has power but im only revving to 3000 rpm 65 in 5 gear no tack go by ear
😎👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Sounds good 😎👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Find a way to vent the ignition module. They heat up and shut down. Vented is not an issue.
I have been using Ultima Ignition programed since 2011 never had one shut down , I had a Brain on my bike go bad, it controlled the engine timing IGNITION MODULE ECM CDI 32466-95A . But never a cam sensor. I seen videos of them going bad on others bikes . I think it was a fluke it dont happen all the time.
You do one thing it affects something else. We at least it was something easily rectified
@MoeLarrycurly1 right but I removed the primary thinking it was behind the clutch shift pawĺ
😎👍👍🇺🇸
😎👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Man, that motor looks sexy in there.
Primary chain too tight?
@kennethwise7108 no it was the shifter hung up on the front jug fins it only go in first and second gear. I found it after pulling the inner primary off lol
@@JCcanU yep, i had to bend mine also
@@kennethwise7108 I turned the Linkage 180 Degree so the nut is to the fin it clears by 1/4 inch the Turnbuckle was 1/2 inch reason it got hung up .
@@JCcanU awesome! You should see how tight that bitch is in my 94 Fatboy. It's extremely tight
Fine tuning is the hardest part
Sounds mean!!
I can tell it has power . Sounds good going 65 mph in 5th Im not lugging or over revving
Cool beans!
That's a first for me JC, never seen those before. Thanks good video
Didn't know they had a kit . I'm gonna look into them.
Thanks for the video..
Yeah they make two different types of throttle cable purchase Hope that's not spelled right perch there you go lol Summer tall some are short I had to find that out when I first started tinkering with the S&S carburetor that came on the one bike which I hadn't tinkered with an S&S. Since all the early '80s and then back then they didn't have an accelerator pump and I didn't like them. I never got used to rolling on the throttle.
I have that type of cable pinch device or something similar on my Bendix but it has a ball on the other end I've always had to cut it off and just put the little barrel pinchy thing on the end
Ok . Thats good to know
Well that sounds like a good idea I've had to trim the cable for that 1980 I'm working with now The thing is sometimes the cable itself pushes into the housing sometimes it screws in and they'll seem to have two different kinds of sizes of threads physical sizes.
my 95 has the 2 different size screw holes . the idler is smaller
@@JCcanU Yes but sometimes the pull cable is smaller sometimes bigger I am pretty sure that's what I found through the different times of shovelhead to evolution
My 107 came the same way NO issues, couldn’t be happier.
How many miles are on your Engine ?
@@JCcanU I have a little over 400 miles on break-in. I’m doing a very mild break-in. Going exactly by what the owner manual calls for. No aggressive throttle. Keeping the rpm’s where they are supposed to be. I did an oil change at 50/100/250 and I’ll do another one at 500. After that I’ve always do my oil changes at 1000 miles. I had a Ultima 113 in the late 90’s that was solid - I was the abuser. I raced it every chance I got (rigid frame ground pounder). Always doing motor work to make it faster. I have a friend who has the 120 who smashes long distance miles on his and races it at the track and has had no major mechanical failures or issues. Proper preventative maintenance. I matched my motor to an American Manufacturing BDL belt drive for my inner primary - Primo Rivera Pro Clutch set up (rated for 160hp/160tq). Very happy with the set up, still able to run my mid controls and use stock outer primary with some modifications to the webbing on the inside of the primary. (You have to grind it down so it doesn’t interfere with pully and belt - front and back.) I also drilled half inch holes on the outer primary for ventilation. Looks like a custom outer primary - I was asked where I got. Told them I did it.
@@gregortloff1457Cool , I just started mine and need to set the carb , its just like the S&S G refreshing my memory its been 16 years .
@@JCcanU exactly the Super G S&S I had to adjust several times. I’m in SoCal at sea level and the carb is adjusted only for start up. It took a few times and I could probably fine tune/dyno tune the bike but I’m not concerned with dyno number or the like. I just ride now. The spec sheet on my motor was 115hp/120tq. I have a Thunderheader which by their spec says minimum 10hp/10tq increase - that’s more than enough for me in any riding situation/condition. The clutch set up on this bike - zero slippage - and with the belt drive (3/4”) BDL belt - no compensator on front - just a big ass pulley. Like I said I’m not racing it, no hot rodding it. Just riding with the comfort of having the power when I need it. At 70mph on the free it’s barely at 2500rpm. It’s begging for more but my days of riding fast (like I stole it) are long gone.
Looks good and clean. 😎👍
I like new stuff
New is Nice but I buy a lot of old stuff and fix it up . the 2 year warranty , doing a Bottom end I get 90 day warranty.
Can't beat that
Nice
Thanks , I hope it last 5 years or longer
@@JCcanU you have a brand new motor it should last a lot longer than that
Heck yeah, man. I hope this baby works good in your King.
3ed gear at 3000 RPM run 74 MPH , They tech told me my 95 and this engine work well together the gearing on my bike . he said the 100ci has less up grades than the other engines need .
Good job,Jeff. Looks good. Shiney-Shiney ---Pretty-Pretty.
Easy to clean that way lol

@@rickel-bisi3556 Ultima 100CI just hook it up add oil & fuel and go . Lot of Prep work prime the oil pump and dry run the starter to fill the case with oil make sure it is lube before you start it .
@@kennethwise7108 Think its about the same as the S&S SE in weight
Sweet
Strange. I have the same craftsman gun that I used at the dealership, and it took off Tundra Lug nuts torqued to 130 ft lbs instantly. The biggest selling point is that the gun is extremely light and feels great in the hand!
Im sure in a Shop with unlimited air and 1/2 inch hose and fittings it rip . not in the home . I use a IR ir 2235max it has not failed to bust any nuts yet . thats off 1/4 fittings and 90 psi . The Kobalt 1000 was a good one also, i gave it to the Son in law. he works in a Auto shop building engines.
@@JCcanU I believe our shop was using 3/8" NPT automotive air fittings. We definitely had a beefy compressor because it had to be able to run air tools for 25 vehicle stalls continuously.
@@300zxturbo I worked in a Big Shop and we ran air tools of every everything air hammers grinders drills impacts , the tank was 20 foot long and 3 foot round with 2 two stage pumps to fill it with 1 inch black pipe to every station . it makes a difference for sure .
You need to turn the dial on the gun left to the low setting. The high setting is for speed not overall torque strength.
Thank you for wanting and the Comment . Mode 1- 0-75 lbs of torque .Mode 2 - This mode is for trucks and SUVs, delivering a target torque range of 75 - 150 ft-lbs. Mode 3 - This mode is for larger equipment such as box trucks and trailers, delivering a target torque range up to 450 ft-lbs. Mode 4 - This mode delivers full power in forward. 450-600

it was a blooper after we did 3 takes . the recording did not turn out the first two times , it was meant to be a joke. sorry you feel that way . thanks for watching
Looks great 👍🏼
Wish our porch was screened in 😎👍
@northbysoutheast5439 not sure yet think it holds in the heat
Lotta work Jeff, came out fantastic
Ah 🤔👍👍👍
We dug a trench and put one of the drainage pipes with gravel on top of it, and we haven’t had any trouble with flooding the last 12 years. 😎👍
@northbysoutheast5439 I use to do plumbing in the 80s we do baseball fields that flood pee stone and edge drain 4 inch pipe
Great job Brother

Her Sister is moving to MO and ask that her hamic is hung up in a corner of the porch . Just for that reason .
No in Indiana you used to be able to I think have three layers now I think it's only one layer
Michigan 3 layers Missouri 2 layers .

Thanks Moe , im not done with the screen and block work .
Probably need to hire some Mexicans for that job
I was waiting to see if that was a screw that you found inside your oil filter 🤣
@kennethwise7108 I have no idea what got into my cam chest . Everything is acounted for . I looked at every tooth on the 3 gears . I will never know. I have thought someone may have done Something when I park at the walmart.
