With the new producer working away in the background he thought it a good idea to make the series look awful just before the transition to his really awful version in order that the new Crossroads looked new and exciting. The above looks so unlike Crossroads as though they replaced their normal cameras but this look doesn't last long like the end credits. Incidentally this story/dialogue is David Garfield's and perfectly suited the ladies!

I'm guessing we have to wait til very late 1984 to get to this story (if we ever get past January!)

The recognisable voice of another Sinden making an appearance. Marc sounding just like his father, the brilliant Donald, whom she appeared with in an episode of Never The Twain. For us of a certain age, Maggie was associated with Ragtime and Bod. The end credits were no longer criss-crossed in the last few months before the major changes in March 1985 and it looked very odd at the time.

A sas episode for me Arthur Brownlow was one of my favourite characters and as a 19 year old i had the hots for Glenda still do 40 odd years later i hated the way Kevin treated her 😀

Brilliant. I watched this avidly from around ’81 to the mid 80’s.Great acting and storylines.

Adam Chance, by name and by by nature. Oh, David Hunter (Ronald Allen) had a Gay Club by the Barrel Organ Digbeth called...I forget. Very exclusive, I could get in everywhere during the 80s for a late one, but they wouldn't let me in there....must find its name.

Loved Crossroads. I had to watch it in secret as my ex Burma Dad hated it. Still, never quite understood how a grotty Motel with a bar and function room in the Blackwater's of Brum supported four, five more?very expensive executives! Driving Jags etc. Any ideas?

Both the motel and the garage would be taken to tribunals for the haphazard way they make appointments! And what a nice bit of acting Angela Webb does in that scene between Iris and Gary - switching from being so annoying to really vulnerable as she remembers her history with Arthur.

Hello Tv Shows thank you for the episodes I love Crossroads and I seem to remember you had some episodes from Hereward Radio and I loved the episodes on there too but the channel has disappeared and so have those episodes do you know what happened to the channel please.

I am really enjoying your Crossroads uploads cause i am a massive fan i was also enjoying other episodes on Hereward Radio but it looks like You Tube has taken them all down cause its gone anyone else use that platform to watch episodes you cant get elsewhere.

Great characters and actors . Jill adam j henry and david made perfect chess pieces , with paul ross and sid excellent in their places . I saw these shows from 1981 - 1988, in my opinion 1981- 1985 were the best years. 😊
