2007 artoc cat dvx 250 sport. loud tick noise after the engine warms up. coolant was really bad.
check out this video as we drained and flushed the cooling system.

replaced v belt, adjusted valves, oil change, carb cleaned, new sparkplug

You ever figure out that noise ?
I am still working on it. I put some seafoam about 10ml I side engine with the oil, it's supose to losen up any build up inside that could be causing a problem with oil flow. I also put a full tank of premium fuel with 10ml per litre of seafoam to help clean put the entire fuel system. The idea is to change the oil after taking it for several rides and see if that helps. I noticed that after running it on idle, the noises are reducing. I will know more in a couple of weeks. Thanks for checking.

I'm still working on it but I'm trying something new with seafoam.

I fixed it by taking parts from the new aftermarket carburetor and rebuilt the old one from it. Works great now. Thanks for asking.
the fan was broken, even my own, and I had to change it
How difficult was to change it?
nartus2005 quite a few videos with taking the pc apart to take the fan out. I have the same issue but worse, and I’ve looked under the hood and there’s a cracked frame piece
